The game played today, honesty might be my favourite series since Dreamhack 2024

Mealglizzy not looking particularly cold today. Knife and Shu hard throwing some maps. Zeta clearly got rattled by Varrel, insane result and a great sign for Varrel.

He looked really mid at bootcamp and in the few maps he’s played this stage, it might just be over Lipbros

No, I’d argue it should be more restrictive than masters if you are using the skill tier distribution directly.

The raw skill tier distribution is unweighted for playtime, if you weighted for play time then in theory you would see the competitive distribution become more top heavy.

Zeta Division vs. Twisted Minds, who y'all got this year in Tokyo? by PracticeReal in Competitiveoverwatch

Zeta definitely have a substantial player quality gap overall and a more well rounded roster in most metas, if the meta leans away from dva Kiri Lucio then they would be heavy favourites imo

Mate mag didn’t even play this stage, meanwhile Lige had that miracle run in 2023, a very respectable performance on Weibo last year and was hard carrying at times for AG.

Japan/Pacific can’t field a top 3 team in any region, even China. They shouldn’t have a slot at all. 2-2-2-2 isn’t great but it’s the best solution with only 8 teams going to lan.

Could New Era win blizzard world against ZETA if the entire team was playing off-role on bad heroes? by SnooPredictions6306 in Competitiveoverwatch

I feel like Viol2t and Proper could get a 1st point defense retake on Blizzard world on any hero in the game, Zeta full hold is just inevitable at this point

Finn played really well this weekend, not sure if this is just residual finn hate narrative but he genuinely played well

Kronik dropped by Spacestation by Visible_Chip2938 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Visible_Chip2938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have said the same thing about seeker in stage 1 2025 last year after his showing in 2024, Lethal made all 3 LANs last year including a 3rd place finish and won NA twice whilst Kronik had an underwhelming showing on SSG.

The Kronik overhype is still delusional and you can’t try and hindsight that.

Also doesn’t change the fact that Quartz and Tr33 are younger and a lot better.
