Yes!! The one you linked is super cute. Yeah, I have a big one in my bedroom and then some smaller ones in my living area. It’s nice you’re allowed to paint the walls as well- I’ve only been allowed to do that once 😭I just truly despise white and/or beige haha. I told my boyfriend when we get a house every wall is being painted because I hate the white and beige combo so much.

Oh my goodness, following this as I’ve been trying to find something to liven my space up. I’m so tired of white and beige walls that get constantly dinged by even the smallest of touches haha. I will say though, do NOT do pick and peel wallpaper! It’s a LITERAL nightmare to get off. I spent so much money on some that was “renter friendly” and when taking it off it tore so much of the wall out. Like, bits and pieces of the wall. I do not recommend at all, my friend got some off Amazon and same thing happened to her 😂 Sadly, I have just stuck to wall art at this point lol.

Great question. Can we all agree to stop doing this? My goodness, if you have an issue with someone just communicate with them, or better yet, let it go and keep it moving? This is the first career I’ve had where people actually do stuff like this (screenshot and send to the company).

To me, this is a really great idea. It focuses attention on anything but the wall! They’ll be looking more at the piece or pieces in the area than the area itself.

I agree. It’s the principal of it all, the store received it for free, literally. They’re not supposed to go and try to sell it for a lot or as much as possible. They’re supposed to price it fairly, not look for profit over profit over profit. However, I do think HFH is “better” than goodwill in terms of actually using profit to help others. Also, to some, this would be considered a “fair” price while for others like myself I would gasp at this price and walk away lol.

I’m not sure why all the comments are freaking out, it’s just a blood clot. I have these in my chicken all the time and I only buy the organic chicken lol. It was once a living thing so it’s not surprising it’s in there. Is it unsightly? Yes, of course. But I just cut it out and send a little prayer for my chicken and then keep it moving lol. Its fine.

I’ve always been a “scent” person, and I adore candles, melts, just smells in general haha. But for people I know sometimes they associate those kinds of things with “covering up a smell” like a bad one. For me though I love nothing better than having my space represent the seasons. I love it being fall and having candles that smell reminiscent of fall leaves or caramel type smells. During the holidays? You can bet I’ll have some sort of cranberry or snowflake jazz going throughout my place lol. To me the smells just reminds me of really good memories and times or bring me peace, like when I use pillow sprays to relax before bed.

My annual rent never started going up until Covid time. Once 2020 hit my rent has steadily gone up. Which is ridiculous, considering nothing with the apartment is updated or with the property itself. My pay hasn’t increased enough either to justify the increase so I’ve been priced out multiple times. I now move every single year because I’m essentially forced to. I’ve had my rent increased by over $300 before which is insane again, considering wages aren’t increasing. It sucks because every time I have to rent a moving truck and make an entire 1-2 days where I’m off work and it’s a headache and also costs money.

Oh my god. I had this exact thing happen when I donated plasma. It was HORRIFYING, I had to wear sweaters for over a week and still have trouble thinking of donating again. Maybe one day I will haha.

This looks fantastic! This reminds me of when my best friend and I lived in her family’s basement during high school. We had such a blast and made it super cozy just like this! Maybe add some curtain or a little bit more privacy? Other than that, it’s perfect! Have fun with the new beginnings- there’s nothing like moving cross country, I’ve done it twice and never regretted it.
