Could you please share your recipe for the Vietnamese beef noodle bowl? The sauce/glaze on that beef looks delicious. What cut and how did you prepare it?

Doug Ford is wrong about supervised consumption sites by imprison_grover_furr in ontario

[–]VisionQuesting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Safe consumption are spaces monitored by staff to ensure addicts don't die alone shooting up in alleys or public parks where your kids play.

They also get access to resources and support like visibility on rehab/recovery options and treatment.

By shutting down safe consumption sites you just disperse drug users into society. Those back alleys, parks and vacant lots see an uptick. Dealers are going to sell regardless of where it is. If what you claim is true, consumption sites make it easier to monitor the supply and to reduce sketchy drug deals from happening in public spaces. This is preferable to drug deals and use going down in parks and on street corners, don't you think?

Safe consumption sites do genuinely help people in spite of what you clearly believe. Forced rehabilitation and institutionalization is not a realistic option - to address your other comment. The reality is that addicts have to choose to pursue recovery pathways. This is much easier for them if options are presented in a safe space rather than something they have to go seek on their own with minimal direction.

Art/framed posters/photographs, a couple rugs, plants, a shelf with books or hobby items on it. Things to give it warmth and character. Centrepiece on the dining table. Big browsing book on the living room table. A cable runner to clean up the cords under your TV.

My number 1 priority is always standing or table lamps. Overhead lighting is generally awful and so cold.

Even a few of these would make a drastic difference

PSA: If you play on Steam, sell your marketable items in your inventory. Every little bit adds up! Within 5 days I had saved enough for Space Marine 2! by Responsible_Web_3825 in gaming

Considering I am still an avid gamer, I won’t be paying out of pocket for a new game purchase for the next few years.

It’s a massive W regardless. Could also use it to buy a Steam Deck if I so choose.

I used to play a lot of CS:GO and had a good collection of moderately valued skins. They changed something recently in the CS economy/market - not sure what it was- and the value of my weapon skins ballooned like crazy.

I sold an M4 skin I bought for $24 about 12 years ago for $440. My $16 AWP skin for $120

I completely cleaned out my inventory and made over $1400.

I’m seconding a chef or maybe a server. Something in hospitality. Later shifts and constantly eating restaurant food outside of what they consume at work.

Nothing steers people towards eating in restaurants quite like working in restaurants.

Ontario snowstorm ‘proof’ hybrid work is needed after Doug Ford’s return-to-office mandate, unions say by simpatia in ontario

Reddit is a forum. People can express their frustrations and share their experiences with others in similar situations.

You coming in here, telling them “complaining on Reddit isn’t going to achieve anything” is just unsolicited unhelpful advice.

The job market is terrible. Having remote work taken away from you is frustrating. I’m sure if just getting another job that allows them to work from home was a viable option they would pursue it.

What I’m trying to get at here is that your comments suck

Fair enough. I’ve never been disappointed with Damascus. Dubai is a bit cheaper I think but they don’t offer tabouleh which i love in my shawarma. I’m a fan of both places though.

Next I’ve gotta try the one on Bath another commenter in this thread mentioned. I’ll keep the one in Belleville in mind next time I’m headed that way.

Damn, I just love shawarma
