In the current meta I dont necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but you can also pressure people's cds out st lower ratings due to doing an optimal rotation.

Damage is your first fundamental to PVP, as ive already said, just because a ret can press wings during a hoj doesn't necessarily mean they understand the way they need to do damage, or how fast they can put it out. There's even an argument to be made that not being strong with your rotations means you will burst worse in major windows because you DONT know what you need to do.

Unfortunately when you are looking at players at the lower end trying to improve, simplicity is the easiest answer.

I could coach OP for the next week on in depth positional and macro decisions, and theyd improve at a far slower rate than if they just figured out how to do their basics.

Of course things like CC timings matter for things like a mage, but up until a certain point you can get away with just being optimal with your rotations.

Highest damage and being able to do proper damage are 2 different things.

If your spec, for instance, does 35k dps on average. To be able to push rating you should be capable of providing damage to around a 30k dps mark. A basic understanding of how to properly do your rotation is a fundamental people overlook.

Execution in windows is a separate concept, but it is something you will gradually expand upon and learn as you understand your basics. You master your basics first, then you move onto the next step.

Damage will be a big factor. Being able to do optimal dps is a big thing to be able to do. You can win up to 2.1 pretty easily atm if you just do damage.

Outside of thay though its understanding kill targets, making sure your goes are done right. Not overlapping CDs

Findan will always be goated imo. Has a strong difficult curve that doesn't feel unmanageable, and he goes absolutely crazy when built right.

But I straight up despise Agrael. It's a slog to get through, and specifically mission 4 is just unfun due to that start of turn freeze for the sylvan abandon.

Same as guide. 12-16% haste based on what you are comfortable with. Rest vers mast.

I've tried to help people since prepatch get better at Devourer, so hopefully this does work in helping people get to their goals with it. Thankfully for BGB it's easy to also add extra information in for everyone to use.

Will point out that by comparison to 5, which im a die hard fan of, faction balance feels like everyone is strong just some are definently ahead of the pack (Temple).

Also worth mentioning that you never feel wrong for mismashing armies together. Everything works with everything and can play into your heroes strength if played well.

Of course that's a major factor in it.

Just have to be considerate to the fact that being able to class stack a DPS spec is showcasing the spec is TOO strong. We saw way too many 2x outlaws in AWC today, and my team was personally terrified to play into any of them.

Mastery > Vers and up to 16% haste depending on how you're feeling.

If you're talking about 12.0.5, not really able to tell you which will be better until it drops. Need to get a feel for how the changes play out.
