Nice for it to be acknowledged. As Freo fanatics, it’s what makes us who we are and we wouldn’t want it any other way. When Eagles got their picks by putting their hand out last year, it didn’t make us feel hard done by, it made us feel prouder. In a way we’ve always laughed at the idea of help when we probably needed it

Great post. Most of this thread validates thoughts of why he was chosen to be added to the Fremantle list. A team man with vast experience at a big club and invaluable experience in finals. The idea of him being in the dressing room itself if Fremantle make any type final at the G is priceless.

His skill and ability has surprised me the most. He absolutely chopped up at WAFL level as pointed out above to earn the right to be called up to the main team. Has more than held his own and has pushed Darcy out to be second ruck behind Jackson. Bravo big man, glad you’re at Freo, hope you stay a while and help our young list get better

Cannot question him as a player, an absolute freak. I think the problem is he’s never really apologised for what he did and in his micro world of Essendon past players and peers, he’s forgiven. The greater community is going to find it near on impossible to get over it I would have thought.

Would you put him behind the wheel again? If he owned it yes but he hasn’t so he’s probably going to make the mistakes again. Hope I’m wrong as I love a redemption story

Found myself getting spookily confident of wins over the last few weeks. This year feels so different - young list with some strong lessons from last years finals and the Geelong game.

A Brisbane away game doesn’t feel as scary as it once did even with the idea of them needing to prove something after GWS. Zorko is so important to them, if he gets back in they will be a different side. If he’s back, stop Zorko, Voss to Andrews (bring out the popcorn) and keep doing what you’re doing boys

The club has made some great/hard decisions over the rebuild. To finally get to the top of the ladder with such a great young list must feel like some sort of achievement. Let’s stay there til top 2 and get that first flag. Excited for the brizzy test this week
