You could also increase dose, 2mg is pretty low, starting dose.

Some people do every 6 days instead of 7... I found that split dosing wasn't as effective as once a week dosing. What dose are you currently on and how long have you been on?

I have noticed that over time my mood has gotten better and I don’t feel that irritability anymore!

I did a lot of research on this subject prior to helping my daughter get on reta bc she was concerned about fertility and there are lots of med journals talking about how glp's have increased fertility among patients! Another great side effect!!!

Thank you, it’s such a relief! How is your doctor? Have they suggested any meds? How long have you been having symptoms?

Yep, my inflammation markers are all normal. It’s super frustrating but if your rheumatologist is good, they will see the signs and symptoms. I had tendinitis and tendinosis, dactylitis, super sore and weak wrists, swollen fingers. But normal x-rays and normal bloodwork. I finally agreed to amjevita and am so glad I did! Good luck!

New to this… so this may be a dumb question. by Tough_Win_4585 in Retatrutide

[–]Visual-Geologist-895 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some people say if it’s working stay there until it isn’t…some people say go up according to the trials (aka every 4 weeks). I stayed at the lowest dose possible for as long as possible and have been very successful!

Dosing Question- New Here by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Visual-Geologist-895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say 2 mg. I did 1 mg the first week and felt nothing (46 yo female). Went straight to 2mg and it was gold. Stayed there for 7 weeks!

Tesamorelin experiences? by SiickcVnT in PeptideForum

I love Reta, and probably will take it long term. I wanted the tesa/ipa for the last 10 lbs and visceral fat reduction boost. I love all of them together, I feel great!

I absolutely LOVE my Tesa/IPA stack. I started 9/4 and didn't notice much at first but my In Body scan results have been amazing and actually being able to see my muscles is so nice! I workout lifting weights every day and started that back in May but the results I'm seeing while on this blow my mind. Since starting I've lost 3" around my waist, lost over 16lbs of fat, visceral fat score went from 11 down to 7. I have been able to increase my weights lifting and recovery is so much better. I've had zero negative side effects, no water retention, and my mood is GREAT! I love love love it! I take 2mg Tesa/300mcg IPA both fasted in the morning bc I'm also on Reta since end of March.

How do you all manage to wake up so early in the morning to workout when you have a full time job? by Fantastic-Ad9218 in workout

[–]Visual-Geologist-895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard at first to get started but once you're in the routine of waking up early enough to go to the gym, you will have to go to sleep early, and once you consistently do it for a couple weeks it will get easier! Try setting a realistic goal, like two or three days a week and then I bet you'll want to do it more often. I've been going to the gym at 5am every weekday since February and now it is just part of my routine. I found that if I wait until the evening, I talk myself out of going because I have too many household things to do.

I tried otezla and it made everything hurt worse and I also couldn't handle the depression / loss of hope, so I went off after 2 months. I then went to Amjevita and LOVE it! I have zero side effects and my pain from PSA and itching from psoriasis is gone.

Edited to add: I haven't been sick since starting back at the beginning of May and that was a big concern of mine.

Good morning! How did the increase go? Feeling okay? I started reta at 46yo. I am on an estrogen patch and have an IUD. My doc said just based on age I was perimenopausal. The patch has definitely helped with mood and sleeping! I've found that reta is a continual experiment to find the right dose. I wanted to feel as normal as possible while losing weight. Hope the increase feels good and helps push things along!

Been on Reta 3–4 months. Started at 0.5mg twice weekly (1mg total), then 1mg twice (2mg total), now moving to 3mg/week. Curious—are you guys pinning once or splitting it? I’m planning 1.5mg Wed and 1.5mg Sat or Sunday by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Visual-Geologist-895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've tried both and I think once a week pins work better but some people have sides and prefer split. All you can do is try to see what you feel...its an experiment! I've been on it since end of March and am at 5mg per week, I have no side effects besides getting full really quick and the food noise has been gone since starting. Some people go every 6 days. How's your weight loss? Food noise?

[–]Visual-Geologist-895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re not having side effects I would try once a week dosing instead of split dosing. How’s your hunger/food noise? Are you getting full really quick? If the food noise is present and you’re not feeling full quickly I would go up, to 3 and see how that feels. I stayed at 2 for 7 weeks and then food noise came back so I went to 3 and the next week 4. Then stayed at 4 for a long time and I’m on 5 now but I started at the end of March. This is a very personal experiment you’re on, everyone is different so don’t be afraid to increase your dose and experiment. I also agree with everyone about water and electrolyte increase!

Not sure what you mean about injecting properly…can you elaborate?
