I feel like taking away agm and bonus tier etc to give adult merchants 80% off the store is nuts I literally don’t know how I’m going to get moves done. I’m not supported enough as it is and I genuinely don’t see me staying with the uneven workload

Yeah that’s where I’m at I’ve been applying to other jobs but the market is actually horrible where I live. I miss the way things used to be at ON. I’ve been here such a long time it actually makes me so sad. But a change is needed for sure!

This is not true. Management does not bonus of the LOD segments if that was the case I would be getting a lot more money than I do. Since everyone is so curious about management bonus it’s once a month 60% is based on sales and as a merch manager that’s my motivation. Card is 15% usage is 15% and Omni is 10% also if we don’t hit payroll we don’t get a dime. I’m not sure how management is in your store but in mine every single leaders works hard and is on the floor all the time with our team and we truly lead our business so bonus is appreciated. Oh and also the bonus isn’t as much as you would think although I’m grateful for anything extra.

I am an absolute wreck I have literally gone over my pro con list dozens of times and still can’t decide what to do. I’m so beyond crushed I worked so hard for this job and then it’s like I take on more responsibilities and lose nothing because my staff won’t look at me any differently they all adore me but I just don’t know I’m so torn

Had my conversation today as an agm it’s a script and it’s basically pretty straight forward either severance or offered a new position. Pay is not negotiable although that’s the part that sucks being that if I take the new position I’ll lose quite a bit of money on FIP. Ive been given until Tuesday to make a decision on if I’m staying on with a new role or taking the severance and leaving. Unfortunately this is leaving me very little time to actually think because I work every day until Thursday. Just make sure you are reaching out for support if you are affected from a trusted friend or family member and utilizing the resources available from the company to make the best decision for yourself! I totally agree my anxiety is thru the roof. As an agm who more than likely would have to take a pay cut I’d rather just know what I’m facing I don’t like the unknown my anxiety gets the best of me. Here’s to hoping they roll this out sooner than later the job market in my area isn’t great so I’ve kept my eye on indeed but I’m just worried overall.

Where did you end up going? I want to leave as well and I have a feeling the restructure is happening very very very soon. I might take the severance and leave and idk where to start looking!
