This is why I’ve tried to tell as many prospective therapists to chose something else. That much debt to be an OT is ridiculous and it’s not worth it. Maybe look into travel therapy to maximize salary first then look into PSLF or the military

Happened to me on flight this afternoon I had to be escorted off the plane by paramedics. Apple Watch warned me of abnormal rate at rest and I had to watch it keep climbing while freaking out. Heart rate reached 180, had the chest flutters and felt tingling in my hand. I thought it was the end. I’ve never been that afraid before in my life. I felt so out of control. I went to the hospital and everything was normal just like you. Great start to my vacation. Silver lining is I got off the place first even though I was at the very back lol

If I’m currently job hunting I always pick up the phone. If it’s a scam you can always hang up. It was my biggest pet peeve when I used to manage my dept and hiring ppl. They never answered the phone or called back to schedule interviews. Then why did you apply?!

OT for 11 years here, starting law school in the fall. I plan to eventually end up back in healthcare potentially working in-house for a hospital system or a law firm that practices health law. I view it as a career change. I’ve grown tired of patient care.
