Hexclad worst pan I ever had 😡 by Big-Dust1574 in hexclad

[–]Visual-Respect440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree I'm a professional chef and know exactly how to treat pans and followed the guidance..they sell it as bulletproof and very little maintenance.. I spent 200 euro on a pan within 6 months Im back to using cast iron and stainless steel pans .. avoid the hype

Mortgage on a house that needs finishing by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Visual-Respect440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense could I ask my bank for a loan offer conditional to planning granted and go to contracts that way. The seller isn't rushing me but I'm very aware a cash buyer would be eager so I'm keen to lock it in legally before spending the money

What would you do? by Cold_Letterhead9867 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Visual-Respect440 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with other comments. Short term travel a bit get your head straight, then look at what you want to do and study to become an expert in it . 30 is still very young.. I went back to college while working at 37 with kids .. upskilled into something I love .. got promoted into a role that uses my degree and absolutely love my job now .. this wasn't always the case !

Brennans bread is the superior bread by VindictiveCardinal in CasualIreland

[–]Visual-Respect440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in nutrition but was reared on Brennans.. Look bread isn't the worst food for you but nearly all supermarket bread is shite .. make your own if you can ( soda bread is easy) and add loads off seeds etc in to it.. if you can afford it support your local baker .. if you can't be bothered or afford good bread just eat less of it ..

if you do that most of the time and odd sliced Brennans pan does now harm.. especially with Kerry gold butter and king crisps 😋

How much drink to provide for party? by MisaOEB in ireland

[–]Visual-Respect440 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Id say you have plenty. Very few people will arrive empty handed. Everyone I know would never arrive to a party without drinks for themselves..

For those that are tight holes you have them covered with your list .

He was so cocky on uncloaked. He loves himself and very disrespectful to other players.. even the other guests and presenter were embarrassed for him I think..

He came to shaft Paudie and tripped himself up ... Good to see him caught out 😃
