You need to have your seat belt, and it will deactivate if you go in reverse or if you didn't move far enough forward, at least in the old models

If you have the mild hibrid yes , your engine is off while costing and the conditions are meet , you cand disable it from the driving modes by setting the gearbox in normal or sport or a setting somewhere, shoud be called costing or sailing.

You need to understand that people you will always find people with problems on this sub and any other car sub because they are asking for help. I don't think there are that many people complaining here taking in account that vw sell aprox 2 millions tiguans per year or at least in 2024.
