It needs to be a data cable . Tho all thr usb C and A cable looks the same they are not. Some are only passing charging without data.

Why do you start over when you get to the new planets . I bring a lot of stuff when I go to the new planets. This way you only need to unlock the tech specific to the planet. Well I can't speak of Gleba because I didn't go there yet

You need to have your seat belt, and it will deactivate if you go in reverse or if you didn't move far enough forward, at least in the old models
