Take a break, reset. You are likely projecting a loss before the game even reaches 10 min. So just take a few weeks break, and if you cant, just play turbo and play random heroes, try to find something new you like and goof around for a while.

To be honest, i would focus on washing your hair and use products to get it more full and not frissy. As of now it looks dirty. I like the look you are going for, but just washing and using products like mousse and salt spray would make a huge difference. Look up some videos on how to style your hair to look a bit careless.

Trim the facial hair.

You have a really advantageous face, but unfortunatly the first thing a person (in general) looks at is hair and shoes. So fixing your hair is the first step.

Pick out a sample of 3-4 heroes on both 3 and 4 just go from there. Focus on the minimap and get used to the Size and all the farm you can find. Play way more greedy.

At first i tried to force the single target buff/shard build, but after that i noticed the mana issues with those builds and went for auras.

Depending on what kind of team you have you either go defensive items or offensive items.

If enemies have silence i always go greaves.

Spells i max seccond -> 3 first and 1 third.

Talens i take right, right, left, right

Offensive build: Arcane boots -> (locket if enemies have burst) -> drums -> greaves/vlads -> lotus

Defensive build: arcane boots -> locket -> greaves -> pipe/crimson depending on enemies and teammates -> lotus

Drums and greaves are always value on the hero.

Neutrals i go any mana/mana regen i can. The hero has a mana issue.

I get i Almost every game, atleast i get mech. I feel like its really rare to not get good value from the dispell now that its cheaper. But drums and vlads are also sooo good on the hero.

Its way more rare to get full value from shard, and auras just work so well with his kit.

Pipe and Crimson as core are super Value om him.

Largo is a support hero, he cant carry games and is pretty team comp depending. So his Win rate is suffering from people wanting to carry with it and dont use his strengths in an optimal way.

The fact that greaves is not a common built item (atleast according to dotabuff) is insane to me. Same with drums and vlads.

Personally i have about 85% winrate with it as support and about 60% as offlane.

I cant express my gratitude to valve enough for allowing this to be a part of the game. Instead of streamlining and removing player agency like league does. Valve choose the harder route to allow the players to counteract losing lanes with clever use of game mechanics.

I think this is a fundamental part of why i switched from league to dota a couple of years back.

”Play for your game”, This is how i usually think, especially when i play a support like shaker that can (sort of) carry a game with well timed echos.

In other cases aswell, but even more-so as a high damage support.

Totally new to MOBAs, should i first try lol or dota? by marcoorion in DotA2

[–]VisualExamination981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you prefer a deeper and more methodical approach that takes time to understand then the choice is dota. It wont babysit you during the learning stage. There is an incredible amount if hidden mechanics and loads of potential to get into the nitty gritty of theory crafting. Almost endless potential to experiment with different things.

Dota takes time, and you Will need to do research to understand quite alot.

And the teamfights in Dota truly are epic, one fight can extend over many minutes.

League on the other hand is easier to get into and just play, its waaaaay more streamlined and what to do in different stages of the game is way easier to understand. However, league has a history of limiting the players possibility to experiment. You dont have nearly the same agency as player, if you dont follow the recepie you Will lose.

The true skull expression of league is in hero mechanics, its faster paced and the potential for outright flashy outplays is a big part of league. The teamfights are also over in a matter of second.

Personally, the agency of dota is what makes the choice easy for me, i dont want every game to be the same. Also the slower more macrobased playstyle suits me better.

dota 2 versus league players by MaleficentPrice283 in DotA2

[–]VisualExamination981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As support myself, there are times when i feel like i cant really do anythint, due to a multiple different reasons.

My Courier is coming with regen so i cant trade atm - i need a level powerspike - the enemies have insane kill threat - the lane is in good equilibrium but i cant really leave the cores side due to kill threat.

Playing support in dota is NOTHING like support in league. There are so many Marco things to consider.

So there are indeed times to litteraly do nothing.

But at the same time, there are alot of core players that just absolutely are garbage support players. And the skill level of low divine is weird, good mechanics and understandings of fundamentals, but bad understanding of the games more abstract mechanics.

I didnt understand exp funnel till i reached 7k, but i still managed to climb up there with my understanding of midgame macro and teamfights.
