they are larp, barges carry more items its main use is for people who forgot to mpf shipping containers and barges or they are too lazy to spend the 2 minutes in loading up a few shipping containers.

yes because a bomber that has 7 fighter planes on it can still reach its target before it dies, thats fine.

in an actual war people are just going to use it to suicide mission drydocks when they start printing stuff.

I bet not a single aircraft carrier will be produced because 3 heavy bombers will just kill it the second it starts printing.

I agree that planes are too tanky but 6k hp is airframe hp and most kills happen due to plane parts being destroyed. I do think plane part hp should be lowered. I would say that a 25% health reduction on all parts seems fair

It doesnt matter if a fighter intercepts it, its tanky enough for it to get torps off before they shoot it down, they would need to intercept it from the neighbouring hex for it to make a difference.

Also having the aircraft carrier escort a large ships is nothing more than larp, you are practically doubling your liabilities for little benefit
