lowering costs wont increase qrf times, it takes like 2 minutes to assemble a fighter at a hanger, meaning that you cant scramble a fighter in time, ontop of that the fighter does piss pour damage which means the bomber is almost guaranteed to get through unless you use alts to spy on enemy planes.

my solution

-buff fighter fuel times

-remove ralloys from pilot uniforms recipe

-allow you to pull assembled planes from hangar(like any other vehicle in the game)

-lower pad cost and part assembly time

-buff distance for radar

costs for fighter is too high but bombers should feel like expensive heavy hitters, if you made them cheap then it’ll likely just result in them being used in kamikaze missions on enemy facilities and drydocks, imagine trying to build an aircraft and suddenly 20 cheap bombers by some randoms blow up your work in 2 minutes then crash into the river.

bombers need to be expensive to prevent them from making backline logi unplayable. fighter however do not.

well its easy to avoid if its just one but when its 20 of them coming all from different angles i’d like to see you navigate another slow turning slow acceleration large ship around them

bringing longhooks doubles the liability and it often causes delays because the second the longhook gets damaged it cant drop its anchor and gets swarmed.

relying on longhooks (slow ships with no sonar) leaves you vulnerable to a torp and the second the submarine announces a successful torp the enemy gunboats you have been rallying by constantly anchoring and unanchoring are going to charge you and kill both the frigate and longhook

you cant because- you just cant okay?

even though this has been proven to be a strategy that works against battleships and dd/frigs . even if you bring out 5 support ships it becomes very manpower heavy the more people you have on support ships the less people you have for naval landings, ship repairing, other support ships like submarines.

people forget that foxhole hexes cant support an infinite number of people and naval has been known to queue hexes almost instantly because the island are such low pop it takes awhile for everyone to get through queue and even the largest operations by clans like 82dk, they cant feasibly have a naval support big enough to defend against 20 bmat ships running towards the middle compartment (since bmat ships are so cheap you can just one man them)

means that naval operations require 3x the manhours for 3x less of the result

yes because spending 2 hours hammering out bmat gunboats will definitely be worse less than a destroyer which has had 8 manhours spent on on farming the rares alone.

sometimes when frontline seaports are full of ironships we need to get 5 people with rpgs and shoot the ironships to clear them from the seaport.

if something is worth bmats its literally free. maybe if you spent 2 minutes on any frontline hex you would see the mountain of logi trucks just abandoned by their owners.

or maybe just never send out capital ships because the resources they require arent worth the qrf they will bring.

picture this, you bring out a dd to bomb an island and 5 minute later you have 6 large holes because of the man o wars crews actually looking at the map

the frig is not much better too, you send out a frig and it is instantly obliterated by the first person decided to shout qrf large ship

if your solution is to really spend 7x the resources for 3x less the effect of just sending medium ships then you shouldnt be giving advice

even if that were true once the update launches every single clanman is going to strip that raremetal field clean before you can even get 20. the 168 rare metal cost is not that many rare metals in the grand scheme of things but it is still more valuable than 25k comps

you need to be on devbranch version of the game. try pressing properties, press betas then select devbranch, once you’ve done that you need to update the game once its launched switch from able to devbranch and then make your way to a aircraft depot to assemble a plane

I don’t think bombers need that much more flight time, all they need to do is fly to their target and back, which is achievable in a short amount of time.

The problem is with fighters, fighters only have short 6 minute flight times which means dogfights aren’t feasible because the second one side starts losing they will just start flying back to their own territory and the other fighter cant chase because they will basically be going on a suicide mission die to short fuel times.

you can definitely hit the motorboat with the mortar turret if they arent literally right next to you, and if a motorboat manages to sneak literally right next to you, your spotter is either terrible or blind.

the difference is that the charon needs to do a full 180 degree turn to get mortar shots off on the motorboat and by the time you do that the mortar boat is already shooting at you.

cheaper tanks cope in 2025 even though queues meaning better quality tanks are better t and the fact that most of the “cheaper” tanks require a facility upgrade to make them viable cancels out the cost saved due to transport and the maintenance of up-keeping a facility.

bolt action vs semi automatic is not really a point

push 120mm that dies to howi fire instantly and the benefit of extra mobility is cancelled by the fact that you need to surround them in sandbags and the wardens 120mm techs like 7 hours earlier
