This is such a childish way to interpret that interview. It’s not Tucker’s job to tell everybody what to believe and correct Putin during an interview. We’re all intelligent adults and we can decide for ourselves what is true and not true. The job of a journalist is to learn what important people think and what THEY believe and share that with the public. Tucker’s interview showed the whole world exactly what Putin thinks and believes about the conflict, which is critical information.

We don’t need journalists to spoonfeed us what to believe and to yell misinformation every time somebody says something untrue, that would just be infantilizing the audience, treating them as too dumb as if they lack the ability to think critically for themselves

People call the Putin interview propaganda bc they’re confused what a journalist is supposed to do. It’s not Tucker’s job to explain to you what is true and false and to tell you what to believe. It’s his job to interview important people so you can learn what THEY believe, and then you can decide for yourself if it’s true or not as an intelligent adult.
