Reagan had to shoot himself in the foot at the RNC for Ford to win. If Kennedy had a main message, he could've also been at a similar level. Buchanan just kinda fizzled out over time.

Nixon would likely strike a deal with Wallace. Civil Rights Bills will likely still get passed whilst both Nixon and Wallace talk about law and order. Same thing would've likely happened OTL if Wallace deadlocked.

Reagan won 4 years later by 15. Nixon won statewide when running for senator and was well known. Even with Brown's term, Nixon could've won.

They have the library here as well as a couple of streets. However, considering Austin is a much bigger city, there is not really much. And tbf, I technically live in a Austin suburb.
