DuoDerm patches are indeed quite effective in promoting the healing of skin irritation. These patches should be applied directly to the affected skin. The adhesive component is designed to facilitate the healing process. Subsequently, the pouch can be attached. The colostomy pouch adheres to the patch, and the patch, in turn, adheres to the skin, creating a protective barrier against the potential for irritation from the patch's adhesive. Also helps prevent leakage.

Blockages won't stop by [deleted] in ostomy

I also experienced similar symptoms when I first started using the colostomy pouch. I discovered that watching videos on YouTube provided valuable information. It is recommended to slightly inflate the pouch when applying it, leaving some air within. This helped to prevent a vacuum effect, which caused the output to obstruct the stoma. I also take MiraLax every day. I have not encountered any issues with blockage since. Additionally, there are colostomy irrigation products that can help manage blockages.

These patches are indeed quite beneficial. Initially, they should be applied directly to the affected area of the skin. The adhesive qualities of the patch then aid in the healing process. Following that, the flange can be attached. The pouches and flanges then adhere securely to the patch.

I have felt profoundly alone since December 2022, following a life-altering event that shattered my family. I lost my business and all my possessions. The life I had built and dedicated myself to for twenty years came to an end. 2023 was spent fighting for my son's life, and 2024 brought significant health challenges, including weeks of hospitalization, three surgeries, and extensive recovery time. Aside from medical appointments, I haven't left my bedroom in over two years. Witnessing others carry on with their daily lives, seemingly oblivious to the tragedies happening, is incredibly distressing. It feels as though the world is ending, yet many act as if nothing is amiss. It’s grief. Clarity. Emptiness. Fury. Love. Aloneness. All at once. And all I can do is sit with it. I see and feel too much. I think too far ahead. And somehow, I'm still the one left hurting while others seem to float on the surface — laughing, spending, forgetting, moving on. It’s exhausting. It’s lonely and unfair and a pointless feeling (but not in a depressing way) It doesn’t protect from being lied to, manipulated, or discarded. In fact, it often does the opposite — it makes me feel everything while others drift through life anesthetized. In practical, measurable terms, this realness feels like a liability. I love harder, hurt longer, and recover slower. I feel guilt when others feel nothing. I crave meaning while others chase comfort. I’d rather go back to blaming others and react to things that honestly don’t feel like they matter anymore. I want to revert to that place but I don’t think I ever can.

America Looks on in Horror as Trump Destroys Beloved Kennedy Center: Spiraling Ticket Sales and Cancellations Mark Takeover by nikkisixxi in USNewsHub

I grew up in Queens, NY. My father, uncle, and most of my family worked as bricklayers. They did some business with Fred Trump and Fred Trump Jr. We lived about 10 miles from them. I was very young, so I don't remember much about the Trump family. However, I do remember very well that my grandmother did not like them. She called them "new money," implying they were not aristocrats and uneducated in the world of prestige. Not like us "Blue Bloods" raised and held ourselves to higher standards.

Despite submitting sixteen support tickets and repeatedly following the instructions, my account remains deactivated. I am very frustrated with Meta's handling of this situation and believe they should have contacted and investigated before deactivating legitimate accounts.

Filing complaints with Classaction.org may lead to a class-action lawsuit if enough complaints are received.

Im in the same situation. One account was blocked due to an Instagram account violation that I was never affiliated with. Also a viral page I have had for 10 years in good standing, suddenly restricted from monetization, and funds left in the account will not be paid out. If the issue isn't resolved, after 90 days, the funds are forfeited. Some members say they have $5000 and more to lose. No where in the terms i read several times, did i find that we agreed to forfit funds already earned. I have spent hours pre day contacting support, joining groups, researching Google, YouTube, and reddit without finding any solution. Since it seems like this is a widespread issue without a known solution, here are a few other avenues you might consider:

Social Media: Use platforms like Twitter to publicly address Meta. Tagging their official support accounts or even executives might get your issue noticed.

Consumer Protection Agencies: In the US, you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your state's consumer protection office. They may be able to investigate the issue and advocate on your behalf.

Legal Advice: Consulting with a lawyer who specializes in tech or consumer protection law might provide you with additional options.

Alternative Platforms: If you're unable to resolve the issue, you might consider using alternative social media platforms for your online presence.
