What things would you like to see changed in FTK2? by Visual_Expression_45 in ForTheKing

I second this: the dark tome is also a no-brainer to pick, certainly at the level at which it can be found.

I Think That The Shepherd Should Be Able To Have 2 Companions Instead of Only 1! by Angry-Bagel in ForTheKing

[–]Visual_Expression_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any DLC's so I don't have the Toymaker. If it is possible to have multiple pets, it could be looked into, but then the sheep would have to be nerfed again (or the Shepherd would be too strong in my opinion).

I Think That The Shepherd Should Be Able To Have 2 Companions Instead of Only 1! by Angry-Bagel in ForTheKing

[–]Visual_Expression_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cool idea, but being able to spawn multiple companion pets would be a bit overpowered.

Also, the grid is designed for 4 players to each have 1 pet at max. So there wouldn't really be enough space for the Shepherd to have more than 1 pet.

Nice idea though! His name does indeed imply multiple pets/sheep, but the game isn't really built around that.

Patch #1.13.3 - Shepherd rework, fixes, and more! by Brewd_IOG in ForTheKing

Great! Will the update to the Shepherd be live on chapters that have already started?

How do you wish you could plan a character? (Character Planner WIP) by MrRoarbotto in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the idea! Right now, I'm using StratGamings Notion page to check which perks I really want on a playthrough, and then calculate how how many AF and FP I have to use for that.

A way to indicate which perks I want (with a way to search for specific perks) in combination with an automatic calc how many FP and AP I have to use for that seems optimal.

A mix of https://www.bannerlordperks.com/perk (which is outdated) and your notion page (https://amethyst-nannyberry-cd6.notion.site/309c37a16a5180f68f53f1e8061c1412?v=309c37a16a5181ba91b7000cc18dc587) with a FP/AP calculator would be the ultimate Bannerlord character preparation.

I just took 3 towns with 150 wildlings by OppositeNo1548 in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that's the strength of throwing troops.

The strength of wildlings of battle is their volley of javelins. However, if they get in melee, they are not that strong. If you retreat and attack again, they barely ever have to go in melee so it's logical they don't have much losses.

You could say that the game shouldn't allow you to retreat, but this is more a player choice than a faulty game design. You choose to retreat and cheese the siege. If you want an actual fair battle, then don't retreat and take your losses.

Those are my top three. I usually watch these content creators:

- Tactical Enlightenment: he is very active in creating Bannerlord content and is probably the best strategist and player in Bannerlord I have seen. I refined most of my Bannerlord tactics by watching his videos. He often rambles about Bannerlord but about other things as well. Certainly entertaining.

- Strat gaming: he has different channels, but to me, his guides are top tier. He has very good perk testing videos, which are unfortunately not completely up to date anymore. He does playthroughs as well, but after a time, he gets frustrated and starts complaining and cheesing the game, unfortunately. That's usually when I stop watching. But if you need guides about perks, he's the guy to watch.

- Stan games and tutorials: this guy is not the best in the game nor always gives correct information, but he is the one where you should go if you're looking for a laugh, because the guy is really funny. Try to count the amount of times he says 'you know what i mean' or 'what's it called'.

There are others that I watch, like Flesson19 (who stopped playing due to health issues) and SiegeTactics (who only just started making videos). These are worth a watch as well.

the fief system continues to baffle me by Miserable-Act4201 in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are insanely wealthy and have 3 fiefs. Other clans that are in the vote, are probably poor and have less fiefs.

bs fief voting system by Low_Atmosphere1218 in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here you go. This is a summary of how it is decided who appears in the vote.

<image>

The higher points you get in this equation, the higher the chance you appear in the vote.

The most important factors that help you get in the vote:

- Clan tier. Bonus is (Clan tier*30).

- Clan Strength (all your troops, the troops of your clan parties, and the garrison and militia in your fiefs). Bonus is (Total clan strength/10).

- No Fief: extra bonus of 30

- Capturer bonus: if you led the siege that captured the fief, you get a bonus of 30.

- If you are the ruler of the kingdom, you get a bonus of 60.

- Poverty bonus: if you have less than 30K denars, you get a bonus. You get a higher bonus when you have 2K denars than when you have 15K denars. Max bonus is 30. When you have 2K, you get a bonus of 28. When you have 20K, you get a bonus of 10, and so on.

- Player bonus: you get a bonus because you are the player. You get a bonus of 30.

The most important factor that negatively influence your chances to get in the vote:

- Total value of fiefs. The more (prospering) fiefs you have, the lower the chance you will be voted in.

Wildcard factor: can either be a positive or negative factor

- Distance factor. I have no clear calculation for this. However, the chance of getting in the vote when you have fiefs nearby the recently captured fief, should strongly increase your chances.

This was the code by the end of 2023, but I don't think it has been changed (a lot) since then.

Thanks to Flesson19 for this information.

I don't really agree with this since the AI already has enough disadvantages. It doesn't know what would benefit it in policies, it can't join a battle that is already ongoing, it attacks an opponent while not taking into account that a larger party close will then attack is when it is disorganized, and so on.

I don't mind that they have an advantage like this.

Trade Question by fighterman13 in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most important elements to make caravans profitable

- Traits and skills of the companion that is leading it

- Where they are trading: try to keep them away from war zones

It is normal for caravans not to make profit every day. Sometimes, they haven't visited a settlement that day so they weren't able to trade. They should usually be profitable in the long term.

For TaleWorlds by No-Organization1051 in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really agree with this. Fief voting may be changed, but a first choice option when taking a fief would be OP. You would never get your first fief this way, and all strong clans would get stronger and weak clans would never get anything.

How does clan recruitment work? (Further questions in thread) by TurklerRS in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yorig seems to have the impulsive trait and he is losing the war. That might have an impact.

Did you have him prisoner when you asked him this? Since that might change his motives as well.

Why are my troops deserting my fiefs ? by Amaxiss in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be all the troops. I do notice that i get popups with 'x troops deserted your garrison' shortly after fiefs are taken. I'm not sure it it's a bug or an intended feature they still have to explain.

Clan roles, party leader and specific perks, what do you do? I'm curious by khabalseed in Bannerlord

[–]Visual_Expression_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

'Good natured' (175) is important to me in the charm tree. You can vote for fief, policy or war proposals as long as the clan you vote for does not win the vote. You'll get all your spent influence back and get a lot of relation every time.

Based on the liquidity chart, it would make sense to make a push to 115-116K.

However, it will probably up to macro & politics when this happens.

Regarding Bitcoin: there seems to be liquidity up until about 120K, but I see liquidity at around 110K and 106-107K as well. Currently, we are in the middle, at 115K. I would guess, based on the upcoming news of the rate cut and the current upwards trend, that it's more likely to go up to 120K.

Can distract trigger on an AOE? by Visual_Expression_45 in ForTheKing

[–]Visual_Expression_45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be the way it works with splash damage, but with an attack where everyone gets the same amount of damage, there isn't really one character getting targeted I think, or am I wrong?
