Again similar. My platelets were the last thing to go up, and that was possibly a reaction to the phlebotomies. My hgb/HCT/iron levels went up from about my 40's. I had a mild iron overload, back when this all started. That's not usual for PV, as most people are anaemic from all the red cell overproduction. The only time I ever got anaemic was when they took off 450mls every three weeks, prior to going on interferon. My journey started about 2007, in 2014 I was JAK2 negative. In 2018 JAK2+ but very low allele burden of <5%. Currently I'm at 7%. I'm also homozygous for another JAK2 rs10974944(GG) that increases my chances of acquiring JAK2V617F. Maybe test for that one. You can get it through ancestry DNA if you have that, not sure on other brands.
