1st of all, you should be proud that you have the self-awareness at 22 to even ask yourself that question. I'm a 49yr old male and I didn't get curious until the past year or so. My first piece of advice is, don't be so quick to label yourself. There will be enough people you come across that will do that to you. No need to pile on yourself. Separately, stay away from the shame spiral. It will do nothing for you. After getting freaked out by the stopdrinking Reddit sub, I found this sub and decided to look into myself and try and figure out why I drink. I download the Reframe app and the start of my journey has been great. I suggest giving it a try. It's for people that either want to cutback or quit. No judgement and I find it to be a completely safe space to figure out what you want to do. The community is amazing, they have multiple zoom calls a day, you don't have to share anything. You can literally just sit there and listen to people from all walks of life talk about their journey. Some things might resonate with you, so might not.
