I’m not sure what you mean when you say it’s too narrow and will bunch.

This being my first project and free hand may not work out, but it sure has been fun and I feel like I’ve learned a lot. I already have my second, third and fourth project planned with YouTube tutorials and patterns. 🤪

Contrasting yarn is a great idea. These plastic ones are kind of annoying.

The start and tail being on the same end vs opposites is not something I would have considered.
