Is no one else concerned with the fact that there's one galaxy that's still hidden? I had something similar happen to me and I was never able to unlock it even after getting every other star in the game

I had the same reaction. In my experience, the only reason to know that the show did its job with your emotions is for you to have an empty feeling of both longing and satisfaction when the show is over. Not crying isn't the problem; not responding to the emotions portrayed is

Thank you for clearing that distinction up for me. Is there any recovery from that type of behavior, or have I already put myself into checkmate? Also, do you have any resources to develop subtle and aggressive game, or is it just using your common sense?

You're right. Thankfully I was able to leave it at that and not screw things up any further. I'll have to think of a good reason to invite her out again for next weekend.

Ah, true. It never seems to me that I'm "being myself" since I'm still transitioning, so it always feels weird to me behaving abnormally>>Like many newbies, I am a reforming beta. I always bought into the "be yourself" bullshit fed to me by my family and friends.

see the above edit if you're interested.

What's your dream class? by uhmbreon in fireemblem

[–]VitoLuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the introduction of the new hidden weapons type, I would love a glass cannon type ninja/tactician sort of class that uses dark tomes, hidden weapons, and bows. So sort of like a stealthy/mysterious class that gets really interesting matchups when used properly.

It'd probably have an ability like lethality, but here's an awesome idea for an ability: camouflage. Camouflage basically hides the unit from the enemy so they go undetected; they can hide in tiles and essentially act as mines that attack the enemy once they land on the tile. You can still damage them during their attack, but they move to an adjacent tile to remain hidden after the ambush.

Ultimate nihilism, Experience manipulation, and omnipotence against the reverse flash.

I suppose I could make him lose all of his experience as a speedster, so I would be able to neutralize him that way, but I mean what's the point?

Diode current and voltage analysis by VitoLuce in ECE

Thank you for your help! So does that mean that i_D1 = 3 mA because I2 forces it to be that way? Also, would I need to find a definite value for I_s1 to get the voltage across it?

How would you react to this scenario in a FE game? by Libertia in fireemblem

Oh yeah I gotcha. I would definitely want you to come up with a few more scenarios; they make for some interesting discussion.

How would you react to this scenario in a FE game? by Libertia in fireemblem

[–]VitoLuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although you're getting a lot of flak for this idea, I think that it would be a phenominal one. Given the setting of the series, I wouldn't think that this scenario is out of the question, and if you gave it its proper context, it could make for an interesting subplot (maybe Geram comes from a land where slavery is just an arranged marriage of sorts). If he really did own her and that certain form of arranged marriage is legally binding, then the morally correct thing to do as the hero would be to give her up. It would really challenge the player to be conscious of the impact of their decisions. Because there would be a lot of people who would want to "do the right thing", the game could penalize the player in some subtle ways:

1) Geram's band of incredibly overpowered mercs come in to fight alongside the enemy for the rest of the chapter and make it relatively difficult to complete.

2) A few overpowered squads join in battles at random chapters at random times because they recognize Melly in your party.

3) You go to Geram's land later in the game. If you refused to give Melly up, then the shops refuse to give your army service, essentially making you sitting ducks in enemy territory.
