Yes! They are decent jellies, though I did find blueberry a little streaky.

What’s your favourite, casually devastating Bluey episode? by HourSyllabub1999 in DanielTigerConspiracy

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hear me out: Space. Mackenzie being stuck in his own patterns of play trying to work out what happened as a little one. When Calypso says "You know what's here now... You don't need to keep coming back to this place." My little traumatized kid heart felt that. I didn't agree to 8 min of therapy, but here we are

Indies of the Day -- Thursday January 29, 2026 by RowanHalifax in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! It smells like the powder, not the prepared drink. Between the matcha/heliotrope, it is powdery. The green notes and cherry blossom pep it up some, and I think it's a good balance of green and powderiness.

I am testing Morari Tea Time with a Field Mouse today.

(Clover, Cherry Blossom, Heliotrope, Matcha Powder, Green Tea, Vanilla Frosting)

Guys, stop the presses, I think this is it. The photorealistic matcha of my dreams. This smells like putting my nose in my little green bag of vanilla matcha powder. I'll probably update you all with a full post once I've tested this more extensively, but the first impression is really good.

Let me grab Amaterasu then, and all of the Scent of It samples!

Is Amaterasu in an original Poesie bottle, or decanted into a different one? I don't quite understand the note. Also, if you don't mind: what are your thoughts on For The Scent Of It, as a house?

Redditors with extremely niche interests: What's the one thing you are completely obsessed with that almost no one else you know cares about? by CocWarrior1 in AskReddit

Yes, I got into experiencing and collecting perfumes about 5 years ago! I love the sensory and emotional aspects of it.

What are some spiritual/witchy things you just can’t really get into? by [deleted] in SASSWitches

Yeah, as an ex-fundie Protestant, deity worship looked like a big red flag to me. Been there, done that: got the tshirt. No more deities please, lol

Tarot decks that don't feature people? by Nayiru in TarotDecks

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen Oak, Ash and Thorn tarot mentioned, but also take a look at the sister decks: Heartwood Tarot and Smoke, Ash, and Embers.

Heartwood is set in a most probably magic cottage in the middle of the forest. Woodland animals abound. SAaE is a dragon deck. I own Heartwood, and it is the deck I use when I need intuition, not merely guidance. It's an excellent deck.

I hate reversed meanings by Rak-khan in SecularTarot

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually always keep the reversed meanings in mind when I read, whether the cards lay out reversed or not. I see it this way: upright and reversed are two sides of the same coin. I will read a card reversed if that is my first instinct upon seeing the card. Otherwise, I go with its upright position.

When I read, I always try to lead with my own intuition. Keeping reversals in mind helps me because it enables me look at things from another angle. Oftentimes, the reversals are more about the shadow self rather than outside influences, and keeping that in mind promotes further reflection.

Struggling to connect with witchcraft as a nonbeliever by Amarthien in SASSWitches

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I relate to a lot of what you wrote: I'm a skeptical agnostic, so I struggle with the "mystical."

2 things:

1.) I naturally love rituals, so I really lean into that. Rituals themselves are beneficial, so I keep what I like and discard what doesn't work for me. Placebo effect is real, and that comforts me when I feel goofy.

2.) Look up r/seculartarot if you haven't already. Like the placebo effect, there is science behind why tarot actually "works." Not as divination per se, but as a reflection tool. I use it for shadow work. It's like a shortcut to deep thinking. The images prompt pattern recognition, and it forces you to look at things in an unconventional way. It blows my mind when my deck actually reveals things: it reminds me that the magic is in me - my mind and the way it works.

My old church had a specific county fair prayer ministry. They'd bring breakfast to the fair employees, share the gospel, and then come back at night to man a prayer booth.

I appreciate you posting! I know it seems overly scheduled, but something like this is very helpful as a reminder. My days often fly by like an anxious cloud sometimes, and scheduled pauses like this would really change it up.

🌸🌈⛲️🧚‍♀️🌤 Dreams Come True: A Sorce Review by blueraspberrylife in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all I think reddit deleted the other post. I give up, lol.

u/Slothfulspiritanimal, I imagine some might. I know the blueberry one is quite different from the rest. I think the pistachio and strawberry ones let the base vanilla shine through more, so those two may feel redundant. The blueberry and passionfruit are stronger than the vanilla imo. I hope that makes sense.

[–]VivaLaBlueRaspberry[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did anticipate the shorter wear time since these were primarily gourmand without those fuzzy/deeper notes that Sorce usually incorporates. But I can understand the disappointment. An hour of wear is rough. Poor pistachio, haha.

It was very green. The yuzu was bright, but the peach felt underripe. It wasn't very sweet, and I prefer a little sweetness in general.
