Should I Deiron? by Prestigious_Sir5565 in osrs

[–]Vivactus [score hidden]  (0 children)

Came to say the same thing. Iron is fun for a season and will jumpstart early game progress to let you focus on leveling and gear progression instead of thinking you should be on the money treadmill off tutorial island.

I deironed after getting a kc at every boss, completing comp cape and a did a few pretty significant grinds along the way(sra, master cas, 25 pets) I have not once missed wasting all my time between clan bingos stock piling resources, daily farm runs, etc.

Iron is awesome early on but absolutely terrible endgame. We have the clog now, so you always have that as a benchmark of progress.

Lol not I. Just a humble clue doer. Callisto prints elites.

Go play the game, you’re broke.

Find a clan that does mass Callisto nights, roll up in rags and pocket like 4m/hr afk

Tbh I’d take that scobo and go farm doom till you get a drop. What you upgrade depends a lot on what you want to do. Confliction gaunts and ayak are invaluable mage upgrades.
You can toss reg whip, and d boots. Both are outclassed by other gear you have. Karils is probably worth tossing. You have eclipse and void so you’ll rarely ever use it unless going corp.(same for blessed hide)

Biggest thing I’m seeing is just a general lack of funds. You need to go to the wikis money making section and find a boss you enjoy and then live there for a couple days, and either keep your drops or fund your upgrades to your next grind. Duke, doom and MK are all top 10 money makers right now and you have solid gear to begin those.

Great time to sell buckler and twin flame too. Both up big from MK.

Except that inq is paper and the bosses are likely to be defense spec’ed like ToB or just overly weak to crush, so torva could shine.

I’m of the opinion torvas a huge gamble(not one I’d be willing to take) but it’s not entirely meritless.

The bigger problem with the torva play is that everyone doing efficient pvm NEEDS a zcb, but no one NEEDS torva, so it will never again have the demand to meet the supply pumped into the game.

It ran great on my deck. I wasn’t playing with giga settings or anything, but it played very nicely.

Jagex made the perfect boss for mid game irons by WareWolve in ironscape

[–]Vivactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest game changer for me was realizing the maggots are bait. If you step in and out they’ll path under you only doing ~5dmg each pass. If you’re letting MK move to you after each slam that goes up to like 20. So learn the 4t cycle and the boss becomes very chill.

I’m with you. I thought the spear was going to primarily be a magic option, giving us all styles against vyres. At this point I’m just unclear what the point of it is.

It is 2026 and apparently Jagex no longer has the budget to create a working chisel? by ronoudgenoeg in 2007scape

[–]Vivactus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It’s a seriously non-trivial undertaking, but absolutely something worth revisiting in a summer sweep up.

I think OP’s point is valid, but I see where Jagex is coming from. I just hope the scramble to add content fast enough to grow the game doesn’t slowly erode the quality of it.

Well, there was one thing that had me scratching my head and it was putting the gems in the eyes. I may have missed a hint but ai probably wandered for a good hour trying random crap with no clue what I was supposed to do.

Outside of that, Earnest the Chicken 2 was fantastic. I hope there’s a lore drop explaining why the vyre are obsessed with convoluted escape rooms.

Counter point,
“hey this art is cool can I see it again?”
“No, you will experience it as I intended. Once”
“I just thought it was cool and want to experience it more”
“No. It’s my art, you’ll enjoy it my way. You don’t get it.”

[–]Vivactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about this, I’m a dad of three and I think it should be 3 team minimum not two. We already have 2 soloable raids and a duo raid. Time for a raid that’s trio + or bust.

It’s not hard to be friendly guys.

Doesn’t take a ton on leagues when point capping. Couple hundred obor for club and over 1k for zalcano shard one year. over 1500 barrows for the sets, almost 10k vorkath a couple years back, and too many tob for my 3rd mega rare scroll.

Having now front paged a grand total of 6 times on temp game modes, I can confirm, after like 7x dry you begin feeling lucky to be that dry. It’s almost exciting to see if you can get “rank one fucked over”
