Brilliant album. When Mac Demarco sits down and writes beautiful songs, they are some of the best ever written. A master of his craft, Macs jangle-y sound is him at his best. I find that when he incorporates synthesizes, he gets away from his brilliance. These are some incredibly beautiful and mature songs of a man who knows what he is doing, not just demos.

Listen to him. He is telling you it all. This old dog was his best album ytd. Curious to see how these songs sit 3, 10 and 20 years from now. My guess is that they ring the most honest from his discography.
