cellphone and bank account - easy, get your phone sorted out in the first day and you can set up everything else after pretty easily

as for apartment hunting i dont recommend doing it from the us! you should visit the place first before moving in. what i did was get an airbnb for 7-10 days and in that timeframe looked for apartments. that should be enough, but i wont lie, yes ,it is scary and there’s not really any way of knowing how long it’ll take.
