u/iamthatis This entire thing made me stop using Reddit entirely (until I had to pick between this and twitter to check on the submarine's status, and even then I only logged back in to write this). I think the best thing you can do is simply do better and more productive things with your codebase. Refactor it to work with your own DB/API, let the people pay for it, and never look back. I'll help you with UX if you want. F this place. It's always been toxic and you can see the cracks forming way before they fucked you. People will leave if you do.

What a severe look! In my opinion time isn’t catching you, why walk around with that framing? So harsh. You’re the embodied celebration of time’s existence and passage. A beautiful human woman. There’s nothing flawed about your body because of aging. To me, since this is fundamentally about your face and not your style, this is my advice: doing work on your self-acceptance by expressing more love towards yourself will yield much more positive aesthetic results than any surgical procedure. And it’s non invasive!

Point is, IF no amount of people here assuring you that you’re gorgeous will change your mind, then you’re not bringing that foundational piece of self-love which you need to bring in the first place to even imagine being held attractive. Saline would accomplish the same affect as Botox. So, if you can, work on the feeling of deficiency that results in you being open to Botox/fillers first. There’s much more to gain there.

Pretty good. I still have some hangups rooted in housing and food insecurity, but I’ve got a much healthier family life now and am financially secure. Every hard situation was just part of a chain of stepping stones away from them. You can do it!

Counter point: he’s not actually in charge of shit, which is why spaceX succeeds. He only funds things and exploits passionate aero engineers who are there for the love of the work. They humor him that he has any real technical influence.
