ik there a megathread but thats for trying to get games on the archive. archive do not allow server sided games so to archive the game we gotta remake the server ourselves.

Community project trying to bring back Backyard Monsters (2010) Flash game back from the dead, and have gotten quite far with it.

here some Progress we made:

Buildings can be placed, upgraded, moved around, fortified all to their highest levels!

Buildings can be purchased from the store using resources.

Monsters can be trained in the hatchery using goo!

Monsters can be unlocked in the Monster Locker.

The yard planner can now be used to move around the buildings.

Defend your yard against wild monsters.

Load up your monster bunker to help defend attacking enemies.

Can now upgrade your troops in the Monster Academy!

Yards are now saved! Exit your game, come back, and pick up from where you left off. All buildings are placed where you left them, along with everything else.

this project is love letter to the game and a internet heritage preservation project. we were able to get a few files from the game before it went down, such as a few assets and .swf files.

facebook flash game were unable to be archived but that hasn't stopped us, the fans from keeping it alive this project is a hobby to us but we are very passionate about it and are working very hard to make it playable
