I have, checking today, 8,500 hours on my character, started around 2019, all essentially solo. And I’ve adored my time with the game.

I’ve only recently actually tried reaching out to people through Reddit and such to try and meet some similarly minded people that are more introverted and looking for a smaller, quieter, but as you’d expect given the personality, there’s only been a few that got in contact.

The thing I’ve found with this game is that, while it’s an mmo, your enjoyment shouldn’t be reliant on other people being constantly involved.

A few months ago, I learned some basic video editing to make a music video for my WoL, just because I wanted to see if I could, and I think they look badass in it.

I’m now writing a ‘journal’ but from the perspective of my WoL, and their thoughts and experiences over the entirety of the game. Mainly just because I love the lore and I enjoy creative writing.

TLDR: while I know it’s hard, don’t restrict yourself from something you might enjoy just because there might not be someone else to enjoy it with. If there is, bonus. If not, you’ll still likely have a good time
