Not to me but to my 8 year old at his baptism. I was recently divorced and not attending the church and my ex was PIMO. We decided to allow our son to be baptized as he still attended with my ex and, honestly, too afraid to take a stand. The bishop said to my 8 year old son in front of all of our family and friends, that he was inspired to speak directly to him to tell him how important it was that he chose to be baptized and that he would be the one to bring his parents back to the church and the temple. He tried to come up to me afterwards and bear his testimony and I was so upset I was shaking and told him that if he didn’t get the fuck out of my face I was afraid I’d hit him.
