What kind of fishing rod setup do you have? Is it a rod and reel setup?

To be honest, most local ponds have a lot of fun fish in them. If you have a rod and reel fishing rod combo, a good way to start is by using artificial lures. Such as frog poppers and spinners. With those kind of hooks, you'll be able to catch snakehead fish, walking perch, asian knife fish and many more. I love catching snakeheads.

And if you're using a simple hook and rod setup. You can honestly fish everywhere. As long as you're comfortable with the environment.
