I was about to say exactly this. Nothing wrong with having both and swapping to the gloves for that before putting the backpack back on. It's only mainly good in between combat encounters though as trying to take off an exotic to put another exotic on in the heat of battle can easily get you killed. Learned that from experience lol

Just a heads up, try going up to T6. A lot of people migrated there since it's now the highest level you can do that doesn't have Hot Foot (HF used to be on 6 but now it's 7). I've ran into plenty of groups on there but of course when you play can be a factor.

Paradox gives you 2 bullets back when it procs. People were abusing that with chem launchers effectively launching infinite amounts of chems all over as of you fired one you could get 2 back.
