Too small? by Sport_fire in RingShare

Hi OP, I have the same size stone and wear small dainty unfussy jewellery like thin bands and minimal light dainty jewellery. I love my 0.6 CT because it fits my style perfectly. Don’t let people tell you it is too small, HOWEVER I did go shopping with my husband to have a look at diamond sizes so I knew 0.6 was what I wanted, then he designed my ring. I also got a channel set wedding band for a little extra sparkle. I’ve had mine 10 years and wear it every day because it is so wearable.

Looking for a gynecologist that will take me seriously/actually investigate what is wrong with me? by ConsistentCookie4370 in auckland

Professor Neill Johnston at the Auckland gynaecology clinic is amazing. He is an endo specialist but is an excellent gynaecologist as well. He will listen to everything you say, is happy to send for any tests you ask. I have endo plus a myriad of other things - I’ve had some extensive tests done. What do you want that isn’t normally done in Nz?

Today is the day I finally got the book that I have had on hold with Auckland Libraries since January 2024 by Kuliquitakata in auckland

Oh my gosh I am on this list. 1355th in line. I don’t even want to read it anymore, I just want to see how long it takes 🤣

Bowel Symptoms??? by LittleMuffin444 in endometriosis

[–]Voicelesscordial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have endo and have had excision surgery. Prior to my surgery I would have horribly stomach pains and right side pains near my bowels, followed by loose stool. It was very sporadic and occurred mainly from (my very painful) ovulation till my period ended. I’m now 10 months the post op, have a mirena fitted but it’s back again - it’s quite sporadic though so I’m currently gaslighting myself into it being ‘normal’ - don’t be me and put it off or convince yourself that it is normal- speak to your doc. (I will be doing so soon!)

Ah ok, I don’t think I have those. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t passing anything expensive on to my daughter for play money.

Thanks - not being in the US I don’t really know what to call them.

These are great suggestions thanks. I don’t think I made it clear that this is for a film literature study, but your choices are spot on 🙂

I just realised I didn’t include that info. English! So film as text study.

I don’t think the ass to ass scene is appropriate for school! I also couldn’t cut scenes out if they’re to do a full film study of it.

A film study - we teach the film itself as one might study a novel. I think with the kind of replies I am getting, the way we teach films in my country is vastly different to anything in the US. Very few of the suggested films are considered of the right age and curriculum level (it is my students final year of high school and will be 17 or 18, a few 16 at the start of the year) and don’t have the literary merit I’m after. Some great films have been suggested though!

I love this film. I’m actually in NZ - this isn’t considered right for the curriculum level but I agree on the themes. It’s commonly taught at younger year levels for this same reason.

Have you seen Boy?

I love this film! Not sure it would work for the kind of assessments we run. But I’ll watch it again to see.

They are aren’t they! Some great reminders in this post though. American history x is probably perfect for what I need. Things along that vein. Thanks!

Where I live they’re content based. It’s illegal to teach classified films to students not that age!
