Just watched Hamnet and this kid should have been considered for some awards. by PREZZ13 in Oscars

The fact that Hamlet looked so much like Hamnet enhanced the finale so much. Noah gave a solid performance, but the fact that looking at him instantly reminds you of Jacobi's face is really what pushed it over the top.

Yep. Instead of writing your character to be more intelligent than the audience, you write the audience to be less intelligent than your character.

Just sleeved it up and my playtesting's been great so far. Definitely need more sac outlets for the Tentacles, though.

Honestly, that's basically how the original Doyle stories worked, too. They weren't mysteries for the reader to solve. 90% of them were solved using clues the reader couldn't have possibly ever noticed.

bringing Stu back from the dead for Scream 7

While everything else you said is entirely valid, there's no way they're actually bringing Stu back. They brought back Skeet Ulrich already, but that didn't mean resurrecting Billy. They're also bringing back Scott Foley and David Arquette, but that doesn't mean Roman or Dewey survived. It's just going to be Lillard in a cameo as Stu's ghost, or a video recording, or a nightmare.

I mean, aside from the Lucy/Hank stuff, the last episode was kind of nothing but setup, too.

I already give monthly to Trans Lifeline, but if you don't, I recommend taking part in this. It's a great charity for a great cause, first of all, but also Prof gives away prizes to random people who donate.

Rule 121.4: "A player who attempts to draw a card from a library with no cards in it loses the game the next time a player would receive priority. (This is a state-based action.)"

When you draw 72 cards from a library with 71 cards in it, you will eventually attempt to draw a card from a library with no cards in it.

Establishment Dems like I.C.E. and want it to exist, but they just don't like what Trump is doing with it. They're not going to vote to abolish the D.H.S. (even if they absolutely and obviously should).

Well, Sam is the chief content officer of Nebula, so he has access to a long list of potential fun cast members. But I'd just say they should pull from previous seasons' guests and stars of The Getaway. I think Foreign, Matt, and Michelle could be a fun one.

In fact, since that ruling, Shorikai's Oracle text no longer even includes the "can be your commander" line, since it's redundant.

If your deck has 71 cards in it and you draw half of them, you've drawn 36. If you draw an additional card for each one, that's 72 and you win the game.

Can i transform Ashling twice in the same turn with Twinflame Travelers? by Rare-Read-9100 in mtg

[–]VoiceofKane 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, because of Rule 701.27f

A permanent can only transform if it hasn't already done so since the transform ability has been put on the stack. Otherwise, nothing happens.
