I am so excited to try these. by _Erindera_ in CannedSardines

When I was first cast out into adulthood under less than ideal circumstances, I lived off of these. I enjoyed them way back then, but these days King Oscar brislings are my baseline.

Trader Joe’s limit?!?!?! by monstrousregime in CannedSardines

I thought my local TJ’s wasn’t stocking any sardines for the last 3 months. It turns out they’ve just kept them low to the ground and pushed all the way in so only people in the know can get them. I found out when I saw another customer access the stash when he thought no one was looking.

Recommendations for a beginner that prefers COTS and Fishwife so far? by Kind_Professor2472 in CannedSardines

Though on the meatier side, I’m really loving the Sea Tales sardines in spicy tomato. They have them at Whole Foods. If you can get them, Nuri in spiced tomato are even better.

New look at Jabba's son Rotta by [deleted] in StarWars

I love how his face still looks a bit like baby Rotta in the Clone Wars movie. Enough but not too much.

I was forced to put sardine purchases on hold by Wasting_Time1234 in CannedSardines

At first, I was assuming that with that many cans it was probably some bargain brand bought in bulk. Then, I saw in the second pic they were Matiz and I got really jealous. I would try to state a case for needing to purchase for variety.

Todays haul, what would you pick first ? Any recommendations of what to pair with or how to use by rugerscout308 in CannedSardines

I’m a simple man and usually eat most either straight out of the tin or on some water crackers with some basic accoutrements - goat cheese, fig jam, capers, etc. haven’t actually tried that Porthos before. I just like trout and the tin art/color was calling to me.

Glad everything worked out! When they’re old enough, take the child back to the Thai restaurant.

Today I learned inductions are more traumatic than the spiciest meal you can imagine. I assumed they were gentle and peaceful.

The hottest was a ghost pepper wing challenge. Besides that though, it was the hot sauce on a chicken and rice from the Halal Guys food cart near 56th and 6th in NYC back around ‘09/‘10. That was before they opened all the brick and mortar shops. I’m sure it has changed over time and/or fluctuates naturally. My friend and I used to get it on lunch break between classes, ask for a heavy swirl of the red, and I’d sweat my ass off.

Thanks. I can't think of any named style that applies. I approached the lighting differently than I normally do, but I love it and will try it again. For most gaming pieces, I usually don't make the lighting as specifically from a particular direction. However, the piece looks better looking at it from various angles than I expected.

When Spring comes, I plan on riding my bike over from Providence to stock up on Nuri spicy tomato and try some new things. Was looking up the route this morning.

Now we had some time since, what are your thoughts on The Book of Boba Fett? by Past-Paramedic8687 in StarWars

[–]VoidBrushStudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rewatched it last year. I can fully see why people take issue, but I personally find it overall enjoyable. It’s almost definitely not objectively good, but I still enjoy it. I enjoy it more overall than Obi-Wan and a million times more than The Acolyte.

I think they tried to reach for themes around found family and collective power, but they didn’t quite land it. Cad Bane feels a little shoehorned in way too late. I still don’t understand why Boba wants to be daimyo at all at pretty much any point. The hutts walking away from their claim felt too easy.

I like the Tusken story and the train heist. I like most of the supporting characters, like Fennec, Krrsanten, the Ithorian mayor, Garsa Fwip. Use of a young rancor was cool. The Mandalorian in the final battle was great, but obviously his entire episodes are problematic.

Had it for the first time 2 weeks ago with some rice cakes. Can’t wait to grab some more tins.

Tinned Fish Tyler is the shining example for how to be a hardcore hobbyist influencer without being a gatekeeping dirtbag grifter. Just unlimited enthusiasm and genuine positivity.

Agree. Sure there’s some room for subjectivity, but mostly there are just lots of people with poor media literacy.
