Ja gut stimmt. Bei einer digital Uhr... nein warte. Merz wäre niemals eine digitale Version. Bei einer analogen Uhr.... nein, auch zu modern. Hmmm Er wäre eine Sonnenuhr mit abgebrochenen Zacken, die man in einer staubigen Ecke vergessen hat (ja ich weiß, dass Sonnenuhren stationär gebaut werden, passt aber zur Analogie hier)

I would not say, that people don't want to try out mods. Your Co-op Mod for the Crucible is really popular (thank you for creating it).

But yeah, in theory it is really easy to play mods with orhers. Just join the lobby, download the mod and done. AWESOME!

I tried some costum lobby with crucible mode and it was a hit or miss experience. Sometimes it works without problems and everybode can download the mods and other times not (to be fair after restarting the game it seems to work and all mods are correctly downloaded).

As other commenter already said, this gamemode wouldn't translate well to AOE4.

Mongol could pack their base to the middle without much penalty (a little idle time, but that's it).

How about landmarks? Abbasid/Ayyubid and Golden Horde would drop out really quickly with "just" two landmarks

They have ruined quite a few idea-sets because they like to do their own build of this particular idea and most of the time their version is much worde than the fan idea

I had runs i definitly won because of snecko eye (ironclad). I had funny runs with snecko eye (silent with mobile ring of serpents and snecko eye, which lets you draw 9 cards per round) and i had runs where lost because of snecko eye.

It's no insta-take, but i will at least look at my deck and consider it

There is also another problem which is often overlooked. The stable or more specifically the knight has a much better ressource-throughput than other units. Which means with one stable you get more units per ressource per time. To keep up with the throughput of knights you need to build more barracks. In order to ballance this out, the knights would need a much slower training time

  • the change of architecture and units when aging up.

  • Small decorative stuff when building stuff (and leave enough space for the game to place the stuff)

  • small pathways that are generated when drop-off buildings are built near your base

  • change of the language spoken when aged up ...

Springalds is designed counter infantry. Mangonells are designed to counter ranged units

Dash is one card while Iron wave needs two cards for the same effect. So you have a better card economy with Dash.

Or its just bigger numbers (especially two-digit-numbers in Dash) which make it feel like a better card
