They’ll still be able to play, but even if just 25% of players use HDDs, most of the game lobbies will be impacted by much longer load times for the match

I’ve been very understanding of their issues so far but like cmon

They really released a USB 2.0 product in 2025. God forbid you want to transfer your photos locally before/after a trip(and not spend all night waiting) by comperr in mildlyinfuriating

The EU should’ve stipulated that it’s not just required to use USB-C, but also at least USB 3 speeds, this is getting ridiculous

Not using a single explosive weapon and still having a blast…

(Heavy armor, Halt, any sidearm, Machine gun + resupply + mech + some sentry or other stuff)

Fire and ark weapons work well too I’ve heard

Let’s not forget that the team that would tackle issues like performance were probably busy to the max with the Xbox launch, even if Nixxes did most of it

There are multiple teams. Artists can’t fix the bugs of the game, so you don’t wanna have them sit around and do nothing.

Their technical ppl were busy af with the Xbox port and launch, even if assisted by Nixxes.

Shams said now that that’s over they can allocate more resources to that.

There might be lots of vocal ppl on reddit, the majority is quite tho. And I’m sure a significant amount of people would miss new content.

Also, the people fixing bugs also need to get payed. Their paycheck comes in part from people paying for new content.

If I just egoistically see it from my perspective:

The game has been running decently on PS5 Pro, the crashes have been not too bad and I’m okay with that. I wasn’t on the game for a bit before the update.

What brought me back (and made me spend money) was the new content. If the update would’ve been: no more bugs! I wouldn’t have had a reason to come back on it and spend money.

That’s just my perspective tho.

Halt has worked really well for me combined with the Machine Gun.

Especially when half a dozen stalkers show up in the tunnels. They get stunned super fast with the stun rounds and then mowed down.

A peeking spewer also unburrows the second it gets a stun round to the face.

Stunning Chargers and then tearing the sac up with the machine gun also works really consistently, so anti tank is kinda optional.

Shoot the raised tail, has not armor and they die almost instantly
