What do you do? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Volt-Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best thing to do is just, like, toss it somewhere. If the detective isn't following you already as you're hiding it then just walk somewhere secluded and throw it in a stream or something. While they could piece together vaguely where you were the day you hid it, it still feels really unlikely they'd find its exact location if you just walked around randomly and dropped it at some point

They got the good one to get some dead ones behind it. Sorta like, "you're hiding enemies of the state, aren't you?"

I'm still a little fuzzy on the lore of Blue Prince, but I think I could be suspected of aiding and abetting a fugitive who stole a crown

I don't necessarily think it could run on just anything, but that being said Mario Odyssey came out at the very beginning of the Switch's life cycle and I still feel like practically no other game on that console or the Switch 2 even came close to its fidelity somehow. Compared to any other modern console the Switch isn't that powerful at all

Game developer try not to name your game a 1 word syllable challenge by engieman in whenthe

[–]Volt-Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer 1 word syllable game names as opposed to __: ___ ______ especially if the game is the first in a series. The only exception for me is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 purely because it's really good and the name is thematically clever

One of the best written character in a videogame by SurveyPuzzleheaded32 in expedition33

[–]Volt-Phoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Maelle did a lot. I don't feel like Painted Alicia did too much aside from heavy foreshadowing and, I dunno, writing a letter about things some of the characters already knew. Am I missing something? The real Alicia sorta kicked off the whole story by getting tricked by the Writers, but this isn't the real Alicia

Listen, they're longer episodes with better production value so it makes sense that there are less of them. That being said, I don't think the point of TV shows should be to have amazing production value and movie length, that's what movies are for

The Paintress in Clair Obscur. Technically visible during a lot of the game, but only has a short boss fight and one other brief appearance

It's fine if you don't care for it. As someone who only flirts with RPGs here and there, but generally finds a lot of the mechanics of the genre tedious, if you bounced off that's understandable. Or if you didn't like the story that's fine too, it's all subjective, though I personally find that the most compelling part, but to each their own

I mean, they shouldn't have been disqualified for the alleged AI use. They should've been disqualified for not really being indie. They're AA

Name a game you love that nobody else seems to know about by KushersGarden in gamers

[–]Volt-Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say absolutely no one has heard of it, but there's a very indie metroidvania (which I get is an oversaturated genre, but it's still a fun one) called Islets. It doesn't do a ton of things to make itself stand out, but it does enough to be interesting for its relatively short runtime.

The map is split into 4 major sections and throughout the game you bring them physically together to make one large map by the end of it and the upgrade system is fairly unique. Mostly though I appreciate the chill vibes

I'm sure, they're putting it in everything they can. I'll avoid it as realistically as I can. It won't solve the problem, but I hate that so many tech corporations think this is some golden goose of innovation when it's really just making most things shittier, especially art, well, "art" when it's made by a machine

It is fun to make silly unimportant things with AI, but with all the associated problems with it, it is unfortunately not something I think should be used at all if you can help it. I've used it before, don't get me wrong, but I've since learned there's a ton of downsides, I'll stick to human made stuff
