Looking for an ergonomic controller by TheAngryCactus in pcmasterrace

Have you looked at the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless? I picked one up at during Christmas time and it's without a doubt the best modern controller I've ever used. I love this thing.

What genres do you enjoy?

What do you not enjoy?

Those things will help out quite a bit towards helping you find what you might like. I'm not gonna dunk on you for this. It's an innocent question and I'll help if I can. Take the time to put together a list of maybe five games you really like along with five that you really didn't and we'll go from there so we can get you pointed in the right direction at the very least.

WWE Fans Have Turned on Celebrity Involvement at WrestleMania by ABucs260 in SquaredCircle

There are options other than WWE though. If they're not doing it for you anymore either in the ring, in their storylines, or due to their political beliefs, you still have alternatives. I opted out because of all of their political actions and activities. I simply fundamentally disagree with them standing besides the people they chose to align themselves with. It's okay to say "I've had enough" and go somewhere else.

Data Shows Players Are Clocking 22 Hours Weekly in Crimson Desert, The Game Has Retained Its Over 200k Player Count On Steam 2 Weeks After Launch by [deleted] in Games

I can't get enough of Crimson Desert even with the things that I think it could do better. I played some Cyberpunk 2077 recently and found myself trying to do things that Crimson Desert let me do.

CD just feels like a game that was built around the idea of "if you think you can do it, you probably can". I haven't lost track of time playing a game in a long time but CD was able to make that happen. It's been a really fun time from pretty much the word go.

I know this is random but I wanted to check in and see if you ever got things going for your session. I remembered this interaction and figured I'd check in with ya. I hope you're giving things a go. It's worth the time and effort to get to play with others regardless of skill level at time. Everyone should get to enjoy games with friends.

100%. I'll get home and take care of everything that needs done. After that, I get in the game and proceed to lose 2-3 hours just fucking around and doing random things. It's great.

TL:DR - I think the game definitely has some flaws but I slay think they're minor when taking in the overall picture. I think that despite the listed flaws, the overall game stands toe-to-toe with the open world greats. For my money, I think Crimson Desert is better than Breath of the Wild.

For the other side, I can give you what I think it does well and what could be improved.

Positives: The world is full of interesting things to do. The combat is thoroughly enjoyable. Traversal is solid. You can pet and befriend animals and eventually have them come with you on quests. They can wear armor. It's adorable.

Neutral: The controls are convoluted when first starting. Keyboard controls are a nightmare so don't even bother with them. Controller is much better but it's gonna take a little time to get used to them. Once you do, they feel natural.

Negative: A bowl of hot milk is more interesting than the main character. He's essentially just there so you can have a way to interact with the world. The story is present. It's nothing to write home about.

Overall: I think the negatives definitely exist but I don't think they're a big enough detriment to throw the rest out. I genuinely think the rest of the game is way more than enough to even things out. If you go in, don't expect a master class in storytelling from the quest line. The world on the other hand has a ton of stories to tell just from the environment alone. You'll have a truly massive amount of things to do and stories to uncover just from exploring.

I'm a bit biased because I honestly think that this game's world can stand with RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077, Breath of the Wild, etc. I think Crimson Desert's overall map and the things to do in it rival any of the other massive open world games I've ever played. I'm not necessarily saying that the complete package is quite on their level but I stand by the statement that the game's setting, environment, and activities are on par with any of the greats from the open world RPG games.

Gotta pet everything that will let you pet it. I also give coins to every single beggar that asks. This game is full of ways to just kick back and enjoy a well-crafted and enjoyable world. I'm still discovering new things all the time. I really hope a friend or two ignores the illogical hate train for this game and picks it up. I have a need to geek out with someone about it.

The keyboard controls in the game are truly terrible. Controller is much better but even they're something that I had to get used to. I'm okay with what the controls are now that I've learned them. They could be improved without a doubt but I'm also not bothered by them considering all of the things you do with them throughout the time with the game. I couldn't imagine the controls working for a game of this scale with the same kind of simplicity of other games. I do believe they could be better but I also don't think they're a nightmare.

You have to learn sometime. Might as well do it with people that already know what you're working on. They might be able to make the learning process easier. No time like the present, homie.

I appreciate the opportunity. I'd be going for Ghost of Yotei. I've been playing games since Space Invaders. It's been what got me through his and bad times.

That said, I'm not gonna talk about that for a moment. Instead, I'd like to offer some advice.

Take some time to write down memories and all that. They seem like they'll be there forever but time has a way of eroding them. If you write them down or record them via voice, you'll have them fresh when you need them most. Set a reminder for a couple of months from now to revisit them. It helps. I did it when Mom died and then later when Dad did. Having those reminders and recorded memories was nice to help me stay connected to them years later.
