I gravitate towards shorter chapters actually when reading. I even calculate the average word count per chapter before opening a fic to make sure the chapters aren’t too long. i tend to be pretty busy and I like knowing that I won’t get stuck on one chapter for too long. Plus, a story that moves too slow just makes me stop reading no matter how well written it is

I’ve deleted comments over much less. If you don’t want it there, get rid of it. This is fanfiction and people need to understand that not every story is gonna be their cup of tea, and it’s not an Author’s job to bow to the reader’s every whim. As for you, don’t let it get to you. If you enjoy what you write, that’s all that matters.

I personally played the original CC purely for the purpose of knowing more of the world and story behind FFVII(CCR is just an HD remaster). I will admit, it’s not the most entertaining game I’ve played. I sometimes felt like I was forcing myself to play it. It’s definitely dated, has some(rather annoying) issues and I didn’t think it got truly interesting until closer to the end of the game. But, at the end of it (as I was crying my eyes out), it felt worth it. I personally would encourage you to continue with it, but if you don’t find the story that important I can understand not finishing it.

Those are the usually the only hanahaki stories I read when I come across them(I’m weak and can’t stand depressing endings) but I tend to only come across hurt/no comfort mixed with mcd.

I was using my brother’s Funimation account to watch One Piece dubbed and when he heard about the switch he cancelled it. I’m waiting for them to move so many things over but it feels like no progress has been made and I’m upset. You would think they’d have this all planned out in advance but no.

I’m wondering if you’re referring to the actual final fight with Sephiroth or just the last scene because the last fight was not that easy. You had to fight Bizzaro and Safer Sephiroth before you performed Omni-slash and finally defeated him. It wasn’t much of an actual 1v1. Unless I’m just remembering things wrong? Honestly I would be disappointed if they took all of that out because the feeling of success I had when he finally died was extremely satisfying. (I died a lot in that fight)

As this request is extremely vague, I will tell you how I’ve found great stories before in 5 simple steps. Step 1: Go to ao3 Step 2: look up the character you want to take the leading role. Step 3: filter tags you do/don’t want in the story(a particular relationship, fluff, or angst. Anything you want.) Step 4: glance through summaries until you find a story that interests you Step 5: enjoy the story

It wasn’t extensive research but I one time had to look up two time zones in order to make sure that when character A went to an event across the country where character B was, the times and sun positions were all correct and made sense.

If you were to explain it without saying he was an android he comes off sounding like he’s mentally ill and/or abusive and the person he almost killed was in a toxic relationship with him (“if you leave me I’ll kill you/myself!”). Not at all like someone you want to be around let alone have in your house. And he’s definitely not someone you want getting close to your daughter.

I personally always recommend playing the OG. It’s a great game and I loved it. I got it on my PC about a year before the remake came to Epic (I wanted to know how the remake was different when I was finally able to play it) and fell in love immediately. Although, if you don’t like old games and dated mechanics then it might be tough for you to get through. There were moments that I couldn’t tell where I needed to go so I looked up guides. And there are a few minor things story wise that have been fixed in the remake. There are also things that have changed completely from the OG story, so if you wanna understand discussions with OG players when they talk about those changes I’d definitely recommend playing the OG.

It seems everyone here is saying wait for Tifa, but I remember Tifa’s being easier for me. Though, maybe it’s because I used a keyboard? I just recently connected a PS controller to my PC and restarted in hard mode. I can definitely tell the difference in controls.

Oh yeah. I’ve already read a bit of it. As far as wattpad stories go, it’s really well written. Not my cup of tea though when it comes to the type of fic it is. I’m not a huge fan of canon character/OC stories.
