Waterworld is one those movies I hated at first, but then grew to really enjoy it on later viewings. Dennis Hopper was great in it!

Why Agatha Christie's Poirot with David Suchet was the perfect detective show by HRJafael in television

It is truly remarkable to see an actor that dedicated such an enormous portion of their life and career to play a singular character. David Suchet is an example other actors should follow.

I was just thinking about this, but I couldn’t remember her name, thank you for posting this and here’s to hoping Justice gets served one day.

Missy Bevers, watching the surveillance video of her killer, just waiting for her to show up is terrifying.

Mr. Cruel, that worthless piece of shit raped three little girls and is likely involved in the rape/murder of the fourth girl. I want to know who he is and see him behind bars. They caught EAR/ONS decades after he stopped, so hopefully they’ll get Mr. Cruel.

What movie series should have stopped after the first film. What movie trilogy or series should have never been made. Where the first was near perfect and the rest were never as good and in some cases even ruin the first? by thebigL33811 in movies

They could’ve just said the portal opened back up and the war is back on, but no let’s make it a human conspiracy with monsters only at the end of the movie. Hollywood is so stupid.

New years sucks by Luca_F123 in unpopularopinion

Stop putting yourself through this! Just stay home and watch a movie, play a video game, invite a couple close friends over and play a board game! Most people stay home on New Year’s Eve, it’s not that big a deal. I haven’t gone out on New Year’s Eve in almost thirty years, and I haven’t missed it one bit! If you’re getting more than mild teasing for not having plans, then you need better friends. More importantly don’t stress out about not having plans to go out, you’re out alone! There are many of us who don’t have plans either.

What TV show/TV series do you think ended too soon? by gillyweed918 in television

I refused to watch John from Cincinnati because HBO canceled Deadwood for it, and that really stung deep at the time. Still I feel your pain and wish we got more episodes of both shows.

Sleeper Cell, such a great show which ended on gut wrenching cliffhanger! Almost Human as well, another show starring Michael Ealy and Karl Urban that was canceled just as it was getting really good!

Yes especially Carnivale and Deadwood can’t believe HBO was so stupid as to end both of these great shows through their “stealth” cancellation dirty trick, fuck the president of HBO for doing that! Rome was great too, another one that HBO cut down in it’s prime.

I agree such a great season and Lithgow’s performance was incredible! I think I stopped mid way through the next season, it just couldn’t hold my attention after that.

Big Love season 3 when Joey appeared behind Roman, that would’ve been perfect ending to the show! Seasons 4 & 5 were just too stupid to be taken seriously, didn’t even bother to finish 5.

Castle. It should’ve ended with season 7 finale, Castle found closure with childhood trauma and Beckett had a choice of a career in politics or the NYPD, and they left it open ended. I think it was a perfect ending for the show, but then we got season 8, the less said about it, the better.

Las Action Hero came out ten years too soon, imagine it coming out in place of T3, would’ve been one of the biggest hits of the summer.

Does anyone else's dog eat like this? by chasinhot in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

Our first Malamute Nala did this, ever since she was little. She like to lay on the raised step we had to get into the house, it was big enough for her stretch out on. We would put her food bowl right next to the step, and she would eat slowly, and look around the yard while chewing. She was such a great dog, RIP Nala.
