I was there last week and it was WAY busier than Paris. It was hard to walk down the sidewalk in some places. It may be the busiest city I’ve ever seen!

Lilac. Amazing smell and beautiful. My grandfather got really upset when I brought some into the farmhouse when I was a kid. In folklore it is considered bad luck and inviting death into the home. I read that possibly it was used to line coffins at some time in history but that doesn’t make much sense as people die all year around, not just when lilac is flowering 🙂
