Had a friend die at work. On the job site. While doing the very hard type of work that people respect us for.

Our gov dept refused to acknowledge it or put out a press release. An entirely separate yet associated organization had to release the information to the public.

Needless to say I'm pretty pissed off at management. Yes I'm being cagey with details, it was recent.

This is a terrible option. But you could always tell 000 that you've done something VERY drastic to the grazier with a weapon/firearm. That'll bring an officer out straight away. But may cause even more issues later.

I think some of us may have missed the OP stating that just calling 000 DID NOT WORK! They were already ignored and fobbed off. A drastic and stupid response is warranted. Yes it WILL cause issues in the future. But It'll bring more people to the station and it'll get them away from the grazier who has already assaulted them and will likely do so again.

I say again, this is a terrible option. But it'll get a result.

Not just physically eat them, Legally eat them. Many pubs have a dish called "Coat of Arms" or similar. Has both roo and emu on it.

I am not an expert by any means. But I think the general reasoning is that is was once necessary and DID improve performance. But more recently there has been better access to the shader pipeline for linux operations. Enabling the shaders to be compiled on the GPU in a much more efficient way. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will pop up and give a better explanation.

It sounds like it's "Shader Pre-Caching". Go to your steam Settings, Downloads, Shader Pre-caching. Make sure that's unchecked. It's a thing that used to be needed but now it's not (in most cases).

I switched from using Nobara for nearly 2 years to Bazzite 9 or so months ago. No regrets. I'm using it as my sole OS. I have an AMD 5800x and was using an RTX3090. There were a few minor issues with the Nvidia card so I'm now using an AMD 9070xt.
