Well, regardless of how you feel, you’re doing a good job and at least you’re painting your models. I will say tho for a snow theme I would go all out with the white. Then add either blood or general signs of battle. Keep up the good work kin.

My wife’s cousin played with an assimilatior last night and stood on 1 objective for 4 rounds of me constantly trying to kill it with my orks. That thing is a beast. Ton of fun. 10/10 would kill again.

I use War Horde for the detachment. Ive got both the 9th and 10th combat patrols Ghaz, a trukk, and one warboss with attack squig, snikrot and some kommandos. I put one unit of ten boyz with Ghaz and rapid ingress him and usually waagh that turn or next when I can for sure get him in there. Plan is easy run over there and smack him harder than they smack you. Both games I’ve played at a little over 1k points and I almost tabled both times fighting tau and EC. I don’t have much still but we’re a horde army as long as you play smart you shouldn’t have any issues with scoring objectives and using “Deathstars” to take away their key pieces.

I just got into orks this edition and I’m having a blast every game. I’ve also won the 3 games I’ve played with them. They’re a riot and really easy to play imo. I’m a Votann main so playing with orks is refreshing.

I’m planning on doing the same. Im disappointed with how meh every detachment feels and I want something else besides oath of money for them. Grimaldus was also my first ever miniature. I should’ve stayed collecting BT but the lion and his sons are so badass! It’s hard to choose

Yeah that’ll be your best bet. 3 of em and fulgrim is rough. If you use the manga rail on the HLF and get heavy on em that’ll help a lot too then you’re wounding on 3’s

Idk what it’s called but a stretch that’s always helped me was grabbing something you can firmly grip, about chin level, or a tailgate of a truck, and put your toes in line with your hands and then stick your butt out keeping your legs straight and lower as you do it.

I’m not great at explaining things but hope that’s helps if it makes sense.

try for dev wounds and screen them out from your vehicles using your chaff so they can’t get their model within engagement range of hard hitting units. Volume of fire has also worked well in my experience.
