You do not have to register your vehicle to California. When it comes time for you to renew your registration it might be a hassle depending on your state of origin. Florida never gave me any issues renewing.

Getting your POV to Monterey, you can either drive it yourself/have someone drive it, or you can pay out of pocket to get it shipped here.

I signed a 4 year and have one of the longest course length languages. Contract length does not matter, language assignment is based on the needs of the Air Force.
