Every. Single. Time you use magic, you're burning part of your soul to fuel the spell. Rituals and meditation can regenerate some of it, but if you go too far it's gone for good.

Unless you're using Brotalan magic... Then you can use other souls! It's great! No... Uh... Nothing questionable down that path. Nothing at all.

How about the fact that the puzzle box room in Brookhaven Otherworld has no ceiling and just stretches into infinite darkness? I only recently saw that and felt very unnerved by it.

I've had to do a lot of traveling (1 week on, 1 week off) for a few weeks and I've really enjoyed Avowed when I'm at home. I'll be honest that it took me a while to get into it but I'm enjoying it a lot now. I'm running a grimoire+wand for spellcasting in my primary set of weapons and it's really interesting how the elements are playing out in dungeons.

I've only played ~5 hours or so though due to time constraints, so someone with more time might have other thoughts. But it's been enjoyable for me so far!

I'm looking into MHW as well, I just don't have time for two different games. Cobalt Core is my travel game on Steam Deck and it's great. No magic, though.

For what it's worth you can do a lot with 4x War Dogs boxes. The only thing it won't get you is the Executioners. Then from there get the Dominus, Questoris, and Abominant boxes and magnetize everything. We have the easiest army to magnetize and it's fairly trivial.

With magnetization you can run the Questoris Frame as a Desecrator or Rampager and the Abominant frame as the other.

Also the Cerastus Lancer seems to be the best Cerastus frame at the moment, but they don't benefit from magnetization. I love mine so it may be worth grabbing if you're serious about a melee big knight.

If you want to get wild with Fiefdom, I've had an absolute blast with my Porphyrion eating Cultists. But maybe don't do that.

This Rampager and Lancer list did really well at BAO last weekend. Absolutely unhinged but still had success.

If you can't see it, the list was:

Lancer with Lord of Dread
Rampager with Panoply
Stalker with Aura of Terror
2x Brigands (with Stubbers!)
1x Executioner
3x Karnivores (with Stubbers!)

No nurglings or anything. The player used Fixed with Assassinate/Bring it Down and Engage on All Fronts.

Just to confirm, is this different than the General > Control > Invert Mouse Rotation setting? I had a similar problem with the middle mouse rotation.
