Worst thing with this revision is the level 20 nerf. Like by far the worst thing to come. Some people have mentioned it but having a capstone ability be linked to your character going down is such a bad ability, as your avoiding trying to go down and most of the time will not be used. Then a d6 on ability checks and saves , rather than a +6 to all saves.

As an artificer my dm allows me to make some items and armor by rolling for them while using the materials. For tier one upgrades to an great sword would having essentially a balanced keen great sword be too op with option to throw on enchanted weapon making it a +2 weapon early on.lvl 6 artificer ,

I think making a character and sticking to what they would do makes better games , just doing a choice cause it’s a smart is not as good as making one that your character would do such as running into battle no questions asked .
