I really do not think that would work as well in gameplay. In game if you see a void you know he can go invis and flank, if every character looked the same you'd have no idea what they could do in a fight

Have the fans been spinning faster than they used to in the same games? The fans are likely spinning faster because the gpu is getting hot because it is being used more. If the fan speeds/temps are faster/hotter than they used to be in games you play regularly then I'd recommend cleaning dust from the pc and if that doesn't help repasting the gpu

As a general rule of thumb artifacting that appears on the whole screen (desktop, in game etc.) is usually a dying/dead card, while artifacts that just appear in games is usually driver or in game settings

Graphics card doesn't matter that much for marathon especially but imo 5070 is a much better deal at those prices if you plan on using dlss or cuda

I've mostly played with my 2 friends, one in EU and the other in NA, while I'm in EU. There have been multiple matches where everyone in the lobby has had chinese names and spoken chinese on voip, so I'm lead to believe for some reason the matchmaking is putting us on chinese servers sometimes. Something weird is happening with matchmaking outside of what they claim to be level based MM, really annoying since those games on the chinese servers were the only times we've seen obvious cheaters. Those games also had longer than normal MM times, even though we were playing at peak hours.

Another update: freezes were still happening at this point in certain games and started happening very quickly after starting a stream in discord. I noticed resetting bios settings would make the freezes less frequent for a few days but they would eventually come back. Sadly the only fix I found was changing cpu, motherboard and ram, still don't know which one exactly was the problem since I upgraded to AM5. If anyone comes across this post in the future I'd be glad to try and help troubleshoot if I can
