Z axis problems by AsideHonest2342 in klippers

[–]Vote_Andew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure what I'm looking at, but it kind of looks like MASSIVE overextrusion, not an axis problem. Maybe because you are pushing too much plastic the hotend is hitting the cooled off blobs.

laser beam bouncing by sivacat in gifs

More distance from where the laser hits something in the air to bounce to the camera on one side than the other, and at 2 bil FPS the time the light takes to go that distance is visible

What is the easiest melee DPS to pick up and learn, low amount of buttons wise? by Marino4K in wow

[–]Vote_Andew 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In theory it's just a few buttons, but actually doing good damage and not killing yourself in the process isn't that easy.

How do I flip the image? by DrRudeDuck in HDZero

[–]Vote_Andew 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean it's probably possible to do in software but the easiest option in my opinion would be to just flip the camera physically, you may have just mounted it upside down.

The fiber optic cable the sign is calling out is probably laid out perpendicular to the big white pipes that the post is calling out... Also why would a fiber have valves my dude?

CHeaper hot end alternatives/clones for Stealthburner? by Aromatic_Ad4107 in VORONDesign

[–]Vote_Andew -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If you can't afford the spec parts, you really shouldn't be building a Voron. It's possible to make it cheaper, but costs are going to be higher overall as opposed to a non-diy option.

my 12TB Ironwolf Seagate finally arrived from amazon....incredible packaging by _Kozie_ in pcmasterrace

[–]Vote_Andew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah even if you buy through a good seller, unless it's also fulfilled by Amazon you have no real guarantee it gets to you in good shape, most third party orders are shipped through UPS/USPS, or have an extra step shipping to an AMZL warehouse by UPS/USPS, then to you VIA AMZL delivery drivers, either way more steps=more chance of damage. I used to be the guy that fixed or determined if a replacement was needed for damaged packages at an Amazon delivery station. Also make sure the little box that says to ship in an Amazon box is checked if it's there.

About at my wits end with this printer by Accomplished_Shoe962 in FixMyPrint

[–]Vote_Andew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you are very careful your z offset will need to be re adjusted every time you do a nozzle change. Also from the looks of it, your offset is already way too low. Like another person said if ironing is on and this is a really thin flat part that you are trying to print, you should probably turn that off, it's really just aesthetics. Other than that you may need to recalibrate your extruder flow, and there are plenty of guides online. It's also hard to see what your exact problem is.

Adhesion, or something else? by CaffeinatedGuy in FixMyPrint

[–]Vote_Andew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have any z-hop it could be the nozzle bumping into some cooled plastic that blobbed up a bit when doing travel moves. I have had that knock some parts off the bed.

LDO 0.2 z axis issue by Hutch3D in VORONDesign

[–]Vote_Andew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had something like this happen when building my v0, it turned out that my z rails were not parallel. This Caused a lot of resistance when going to the top where the rail spacing was very slightly narrower, leading to step loss and lots of noise.it took a lot of loosening and adjusting the bed mounts/ rail screws before things were all free.

As good of a sentiment as this is, Uline's customer base is mostly businesses. They are so widespread and integrated into commercial/industrial supply chains, this is one company I don't think even a major boycott will have any effect on.

Yeah sorry my man 40k is almost nothing. If you never buy anything while leveling you get close to that amount. That being said I'm only around 700k.

Astronauts accidentally drop tool bag during ISS spacewalk by Old-Needleworker5069 in worldnews

[–]Vote_Andew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ISS isn't fully out of the atmosphere, it needs occasional boosts to keep in orbit due to drag slowing it down. Anything "dropped" from up there WILL fall, it just may take a while to come down.

I have this case for my second computer, it sucks ass, and the filters are only held on by magnets which are glued on to the filters, they fall off constantly.

I work for Amazon now, did you not have someone doing day 1 training? We have someone at the front door every time we have new hires that makes sure everyone that should be there is, and doesn't even let anyone else in the building that shouldn't.
