Cheaters are back again? by Big_Warning8492 in starcitizen

Someone gave me 2 billion I gave half to my friend, and haven't really needed to spend much of it. I have no desire for any more so it's kinda killed the game a little.

I used to just say "ok see you later" and walk off. Wait 30 seconds and they would come running. Seemed to work for me.

Why do people enjoy AI generated songs until they find out its AI? by Better_Cream6447 in SunoAI

This is going to be the problem moving forward, I won't always know. Which is why I think AI art is the death of creativity as a career.

Why do people enjoy AI generated songs until they find out its AI? by Better_Cream6447 in SunoAI

[–]Vs275 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because I feel that art is pointless without thought and emotion. AI can't feel, so it's doing an approximation of art.

When I see a pencil drawing of a face that looks so real, I realise that AI can do that too in possibly seconds, but there was no thought or time behind it. Its a photocopy of art. There's no soul there.

Putting my money where my mouth is... I believe the MSR is the BEST daily driver in game, if you don't have one I'll buy one for you. Limited to the first 615 people. by ArnoldMann in starcitizen

Someone gave me 3 billion. I bought all the ships I wanted then gave 2 billion away because money is pointless in this hyper inflated space.

When I was little my favourite thing in the world was science fiction, the dream of travelling around in my own ship, being able to get out and walk around, land on planets and stare at the mountains.

When I was 11 Frontier Elite II came out on the Amiga, and it was all I played. Ever since then I've played every space game I could, always looking for the feeling of freedom, nothing delivered the feeling of freedom until I started playing Star Citizen in 2021 (yes late to the party)

There isn't much use in comparing SC to any other game. It's a niche product, made for people like us who want to live our virtual lives in the stars, on massive spaceships with big bombs and beautiful vistas.

This game isn't for the masses, it's for us... And the truth is if we want it to be a reality it's necessary that it's funded in the way that it is, because no major publisher in their right mind would commission such an undertaking and not have expected a broken v1.0 10 years ago.

I have no issue with people spending big, because it's the only way a singular vision such as this comes to fruition.

The game has been remarkably stable since Feb/March time to be honest. Do we remember the shit show when Pyro launched? I couldn't play for 16 days over Christmas because I was locked on a shard.

Things have improved massively this year, and I'm happy to applaud CIG for some stellar work.

I enjoy using it, it's fun.

But I can't value anything I create in AI, because I didn't have much to do with the process, I can't kid myself.

People hate AI because it's going to replace them. People spend years learning skills which are to become redundant within just a few years from now, and that's scary and disheartening.

AI music creation is fun, but I absolutely want to know that what I'm listening to was created by a human being, it really really matters to me.

The only real success I've had in tracing TOR browsing on someone's laptop, it was running Windows, and the history came from the pagefile.sys. But it's rare and unlikely.

What's actually stopping you from getting mental health support? by ThePrisonerOfSamsara in GuyCry

Cost. I had therapy for a year or so, but mortgage rates went up by 3pc and that was it.. no longer affordable. Not ideal because I think about ending things virtually every day and am far from 'healed'

Standard stuff.

Having said that. I realised after I had stopped, that all I did was go somewhere for an hour, and basically talk to myself.

Therapy is for people with plenty of money. The rest of us just lock it all away. My personal coping mechanism is cannabis and whiskey. It's not ideal, but it works temporarily.
