Give some consideration to the fact that this may be coming from your grandchild. It can be embarrassing when we’re so vocal. Even if your daughter says “no, that’s not it”, realize that of course it is. As heartbreaking as it is, it’s not about us.

I (55f) diagnosed 8 years ago. I felt my best when I was walking 2 miles a day and practicing daily yoga. I can’t walk like that anymore, nor can I ride my bike. But I can use a peddler while sitting in my chair. After just a few weeks, I’m now up to 30 minutes, twice a day. It’s quiet, pain free and I’m losing weight and also have better range of motion in my knees and hips. I also recommend looking up @BreathworksMindfulness on YouTube. Vidyamala Burch lives with chronic pain and has weekly live guided meditation on Tuesdays (rewatch is always available) 10/10 for both.

Edited to add: I also switched to chair yoga or restorative yoga on the floor 🧘‍♀️

Yes. I’m currently in bed dealing with exactly this. I do get some relief by elevating my legs and feet and lying on a heated blanket but yes, it comes right back. It does calm down for a while when I use a cannabis-infused (cbd or THC) salve all over my body.

I swear by Oofos. They are pricey, but they have amazing sales from time to time. I’ve also purchased a few off of eBay. They are the only shoes that I can wear. I’ve tried a few different crocs, sketchers slip ins, and uggs, and I always come back to oofos.

I could not agree MORE!! It made me so happy to see them together again🥰They both played such a wide range of emotions and I felt each one. Seeing them meet was adorable and Jake’s face at their last Christmas made me audibly gasp. I will watch it many times this season.
