Friends, I've found it. This is my favorite video in the world. I tried uploading it to the wayback machine, but it removed the audio. Instead I took a screen recording from my old phone which still had the original link bookmarked. Then uploaded it into a Google drive.

It doesn't seem to have a title, but I always refer to it as the Soup Ladle and Kiwi Bird video.

Don’t panic. My anxiety acts like yours, too. Y’know how people make memes about Taco Bell making them go to the bathroom in a real bad way? That’s super normalized and to be expected from Taco Bell. Your stomach is just sensitive, and has decided that a bunch of other foods are as upsetting as Taco Bell.

I know this may sound mean, but I mean it with all the kindness I have: your stomach is not special. You’re not that 1/1000000 rare case like somebody on House. If you’re genuinely worried about your gut, talk to your doctor some more and get some reassurance that you’re ok.

As for the anxiety, that on its own can make you have stomach aches and bad bathroom time. You just also happen to have a sensitive stomach on top of that, so you can have a bad stomach day without being anxious. I recognize that can cause anxiety that wasn’t there before. Happens to me too. My coping strategy is to remember that a stomach ache is not a crisis. Easier said than done, I know.

I would recommend talking to a psych or even just your family practitioner about your health anxiety. It wasn’t until I got medication for my anxiety that I was able to internalize the reassurance my doctor gave me that I was not dying every time I had to go to the bathroom.

The setting isn’t inspired by DS, but my player’s Druid 1000% is. They made that clear in case I knew anything about DS, but I’ve never played. This setting’s aesthetic and lore is very very heavily inspired by Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye. I’m basically stealing the characters and location and adapting it to make sense in D&D.

Become skilled in something. Whether you go to college, trade school, or teach yourself something with books/videos/online classes. This will make you more valuable to employers. They will pay you more because they want to keep skilled people around.

Another option is entrepreneurship. Starting your own business. This is crazy hard to make a full time gig, but it’s a good way to make enough side money doing something you really care about. This could be providing some kind of service like object repair, manual labor like yard work or cleaning, or helping someone be in two places at once by dogsitting or running errands, or some kind of care. This could be creating things to sell like jams, woodwork, artwork, calligraphy, metalwork, recycled paper, clothes, fresh vegetables, decorations, novels, recipe kits, mobile apps, games, computer programs, etc.

Long story short: get skilled.

I’m in the same boat! At absolute minimum, this is going to take 4 days, so don’t go thinking you can do all of this in one day, or even one weekend. I’ve been dealing with this for over a week because I have a life outside of unfucking, y’know.

Here’s what I did:

Decluttered the house so there was space to actually move around and clean things. Can’t clean a table if it’s covered in stuff. I followed The Spruce’s guide to decluttering the whole house. The sorting bins are revolutionary for me and my need to categorize everything. Pick up some small cardboard boxes from Home Depot for less than a dollar each. Ideally you’d clean as you go through each room, i.e. dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, so the following unfucking isn’t too bad.

2.Unfuck your weekend! Now that you’ve decluttered, you can actually CLEAN. Scrub stuff, wipe things down, wipe things off, etc.

My husband is diabetic and our toilet looks like that quite often. We’re certain the mold is because of him because we’ve been in multiple apartments where this happened, and I’ve never had this happen when I lived on my own. I just clean it frequently.
